I have bought the 2019 GT line petrol DCT model and by far it is the best car when you compare it with its competitors. No software issues, quality interior and fun to drive. I have not faced any issues till date. Loving it ❤

Tata Harrier bhi 3-star rated hai as per internal sources , isiliye Tata motors gncap ko nahi bhej raha hai. Tata Harrier ke bhi 2 tukdey huye hai. First generation Seltos me AIRBAGs faulty thi jo bottomout huyi thi isliye 3 star miley hai. Ye sab GNCAP ke detail report m diya huwa hai

Even in case of Carens GNCAP has mentioned that Carens meets UN95 requirements of side impact , but the result of Carens was published only for frontal collision where only frontal impact is assessed and only front 2 airbags matter. And most important thing is Carens is based Sonet’s K2 platform and NOT the seltos’s K2 , thats why cost of Carens is less than Seltos in every variant. And Carens was crash tested with 1640 kg weight which is very high for a Platform of car like Sonet (As carens is based on Sonet platform) thats why the A pillar was bent in Carens

True but the matte paint is so difficult to maintain. You'll have to spend another 1lac+ for ppf. Which makes it not worth it for me. I initially booked the X Line but after researching how to take care of matte paint, I decided to go with the GTX+.

Kia seltos in the US starts from 20 lac rupees without taxes which are individual to each state, STARTS that is, so you tell me who’s going to buy the top variants in India if priced upwards of 35 lac rupees? The company has done it’s research, yeah safety if paramount but then the customer simply can choose a different car like I did with the nexon. But honestly it has unreliable electronics. I am lucky to have great after sales service but many tata customers are sick and tired of their cars and mahindra ka toh pucho hi mat. There’s a reason why these car brands sell you see.

I have astor and feature like ADAS is something from which you’ll never want to go back from. Especially adaptive cruise control. Also car operations like ac on off from app, so useful in summer. So many other things. Now Seltos have ADAS too. Good to know.

Seltos looks class apart from competition. I love the ADAS they have put. Their diesel is so silent if you compare others (tata or mahindra). Loaded with features. Looks to Killer hai Har angle se ek mast dikhti hai car. Kudos to Kia for making such a beautiful car.

At 11:19, Gagan mentioned there are better DCTs than the Hyundai/Kia DCT available in the market which are not the VW DQ200 DCTs. I am wondering which cars is he referring to in the Indian context at least. Because the next best DCT car is the VW Tiguan which is a couple of segments higher in terms of price.

By seeing the comment section, One thing is for sure. INDIAN buyers have a long way to go in understanding the core functionality of a CAR related to OVERALL SAFETY. We tend to ignore structural safety and run behind features so that we can showoff but the DAY when someone hits our car and we suffer a great loss only then we realize how important structural safety is. Foreign buyers don't even consider buying a car if its OVERALL SAFETY (active, passive, structural) is not upto the mark. God bless everyone and i hope INDIAN buyers become mature enough.

I use seltos imt since 1.5 years best things you have in citi rides and in Highway it is better because in Ahmedabad vadodara exp highway once I set 6th gear I don't switch any gears between 50 to 100 kmph speed and its just peace of mind

Gagan jaise bade reviewer 3 star rating ko bolte hain boht hai aur kya chahiye to andhbhakti ni to kya hua ye. He mentioned the enforcement done to chassis but usne ye nai kaha ki ab safe hogyi , if something is done, let the updated one have a crash test. @@SuyashKaul 4:04 there's taunt in his voice when he says - 'jo log hain wo kahenge' as if he doesn't care if a car is safe. 4:09 then he justifies car toot k 2 tukde ho gaye ki koi bhi gadi ho jati hai when clearly seltos k boht zyada examples hain ki gadi total loss hoti hai compared to safer counterparts. He says tauntingly - "apko 4 example mai "safest" car k de sakta hu" as if there's no difference bw those cars and seltos. But there is difference, the previous gen crash rating proves it and this seltos is also based on the same platform, aribags don't matter because kia carens also failed with 6 airbags. 4:25 safety me translate hote hin to achi bat nahi to kya kar sakte hain... ye kar sakte hain ki in gadio ka market gira sakte hain by buying other cars which are better. But again jinko fikar nahi hai wo jab marenge to surprise mat hona ki features to boht the mar kaise gaye.

I am planning to buy the new Kia Seltos 2023 with ADAS. I’ve been hearing mixed reviews about ADAS that how it brakes suddenly even if there is a stray dog or a cat even remotely close to the car on the road. One of my friends told me how his 2023 Mercedes E-Class had a terrible accident when his vehicle braked suddenly and the car right behind him, a Ford Endeavour without ADAS, banged his car. I asked him if we can turn this feature off for city driving and he had no clue about it. If it is actually the case,that we cant turn off this feature in the KIA,then I feel as of today I am not ready to have this feature. I will opt for a lower trim. I live in Calcutta and the traffic sense is just MIND BLOWINGLY POOR. Please advise

ADAS is literally not so useful within city, especially in densely populated and heavy traffic conditions. At best, it's useful in highways to a certain extent.

You can limit the ADAS settings as required.. so no worries go for it.
