+Grand Gremlin Peace be with you. Forgiveness doesn't magically erase the consequences of an action. Someone has to bear those consequences. If I steal $100 from you, justice demands that I return the $100 to you. If you punish me, I lose $100. If you forgive me and decide not to press charges, you lose $100 i.e. you take on the punishment that I deserved. This is what Jesus did for us on the cross. He took the consequences of our sin (death) on himself, in the same way you would take the consequences of my robbery on yourself if you decided not to press charges and get your money back.

Elias Hordofa I love Ethiopian gospel singers. You're right; it is "very" moving. It's one of the only of its kind to bring me to tears. The old country church I was raised in sung hymns without instruments. I prefer this style over "modern" gospel singing. All Christian music is great when we're singing to praise HIM; but there IS something about the way y'all harmonize that has a distinctive beauty to it.

Elias Hordofa you're right! Ethiopians "do" sing gospel hymns beautifully. It's the only other style of music that will move me to tears. Y'all harmonize in a distinctive way no one else does. Let us Praise our Heavenly Father, Lord God Almighty, for His Love, Saving Grace and Mercy, for Providing a Sacrificial Lamb, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who Shed His Blood to allow us Salvation, and to be grafted to the Tree of Eternal Life, as Children of God, that now can be guided by the Holy Spirit on earth, as it is in Heaven. OMG!!!!!! This is totally awesome, and this is better than anything else to listen to, this, not only touched me and moved me in a way only people that love Christ can understand what I am speaking about. I felt the Holy Spirit like never before, I thought the Holy Spirit only manifested in Church or Prayer meetings , and oh my Lord, it was so precious to feel the Spirit here in front of my computer, I listened for hours until I rested, and even in my sleep I could hear the precious sounds of such a beautiful song.......John Silva in SM California

This Song, and others like it, reminds me of better times. I am embarrassesd, when I break down and cry, whenever such songs are sung and played at the truck stop ministries I attended. I had been OTR for ten years, thankful that I was employed, but in mourning over the lifestyle I once enjoyed.

I was so terrified by a sudden demonic attack in the mid night while I was watching one of the bad news from social media and I was feeling strong presence of demonic power around me. I was in a great fear. However, I started to declare the blood of Jesus on my body, sprit and soul and on each of my family member. My fear did not go away until 2:30 pm until I listened to the blood of Jesus song with you. Shortly, I started to weep deeply and then I received my complete freedom from the surrounding spirits. What the power in the blood of Jesus!

Tonight I had the urge to relapse on alcohol and then I found this program with the Gaithers and have been listening to it and the temptation to drink was taken from me God willing I will celebrate for years sober May 17th free from alcohol I feel the love of God here in my apartment praise the Lord

I love the reminder of how church used to be. Brought me to tears. I haven't attended church in years. I grew up Pentecostal holiness. Everyone was in love with Jesus. The church had windows, daylight streaming in, and a cross on the roof. I'm ready to go home to Jesus.

Truly how great is the blood of Christ the only thing that can atone for he was the only perfect one to save us, how great is he! We are horrible people we are depraved, sinful, and immoral but how great his Christ that he loved us enough to do this for us. When he reached down for me oh what worm am i, I am the chief of sinners I am the depraved one I am the immoral one but God saved me and thank him and praise him that he still does Nothing but the blood saved me and thank God and praise his holy name that it does
