While we await the Unpacked event in July where Samsung is expected to unveil an exciting array of new products including the Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra, the prices of these much-anticipated watches have been revealed.
In an exclusive report by 91mobiles, we now have the inside scoop on the US prices and color options for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra, thanks to insights from Passionategeekz, who is also known as Paras Guglani.
Although, while the Galaxy Watch 7 will be available in 40 and 44mm sizes, Paras only revealed the price of the 40mm unit.
According to this new leak, the Galaxy Watch 7 40mm unit is expected to be priced between 299 and $310. This is very close to the 280 and $320 for the Bluetooth and LTE models of the 40mm Galaxy Watch 6.
Meanwhile, it will be available in Marble Gray, Cream White, and Forest Green colors.
These colors offer a fresh palette compared to its predecessor which is available in Gold and Graphite colors.
Moving on to the Galaxy Watch Ultra which will be available in only 47mm size, Paras also revealed it will carry a price tag between 699 and $710.
This is around $100 cheaper than the Apple Watch Ultra 2 which retails for $799. This of course sets the stage for a competitive showdown in the premium outdoor smartwatch market.
From what has been disclosed so far, the Galaxy Watch 7 and Ultra will be powered by an advance 3nm 5-core exynos chip which should boost performance significantly.
The watches will also be the first to launch with the recently announced Wear OS 5. Storage has also been bumped to 32GB for both watches.
Moreover, both Galaxy watch 7 and Ultra will take lesser time to charge, thanks to the 15W charging speed.
Meanwhile, while Galaxy Watch Ultra boasts up to 3000nits display brightness, it is 2000nits for the Galaxy Watch 6.
Well, as the date for the Unpacked event approaches, excitement and tension are mounting for what promises to be a landmark event as Samsung debuts its first Galaxy ring and premium outdoor smartwatch.
