”These little episodes of gallbladder pain.“ Yeah, that's not how it feels, my highly educated bro.

Ansolutely not, the pain can become almost unbearable, nothing helps to reduce it, no position changes it, and it can make you throw up, and it goes on for hours on end, most people would not term that 'little'.

It was so bad & im 21 weeks pregnant, I had to go to the ER & got my gallbladder removed. There was nothing I could do to take the pain away myself, it felt like I was being stabbed. And then my pregnancy is struggling in other ways too 😭 ugh I can’t wait for it to be over

Dr. Harris left out an important detail- the gallbladder doesn't just store bile, it also concentrates it to make it more effective. The common bile duct does not do this. Even though most doctors are unaware of it (ours was not aware), you absolutely CAN dissolve cholesterol gallstones naturally (I have), and keep your gallbladder as long as you don't have a medical emergency that drives you to a cholecystectomy, such as a stone stuck long term in your cystic duct or common bile duct (which could cause cholecystitis or choledocholithiasis). Acording to a WSES study, only 15% of those with biliary cholic, if left untreated, go on to develop cholecystitis. If you have biliary cholic (and not cholecystitis) that should be a warning sign to stop what you're doing and dissolve your gallstones (not necessarily remove the gallbladder if it's still fine). Supplements such as TUDCA (which is over the counter but has similar efficacy to the prescription UDCA / Ursodiol that gastroenterologists use to dissolve gallstones), Rowachol, Chanca Piedra, Lecithin, Turmeric, Milk Thistle, Cod Liver Oil and drinking lots of water, will all work in conjunction to thin and increase bile flow, thus dissolving gallstones over time, while you eat a bland low-fat diet to keep your gallbladder from contracting, so that you don't trigger biliary cholic. The process can take many months depending on your stones. There are many studies in Pubmed which demonstrate the efficacy of those supplements. Do your own research. Make your own decisions. It's also helpful if you own an ultrasound machine so you can keep an eye on the stones and their progress. While you can live without your gallbladder, it's far from ideal as you will have poor fat absorption and thus poor absorption of vitamins such as A D E and K, without taking bile salts to help, not to mention the ~$20k cost for the surgery...

I had gallstones in January of 2021. It was the worst pain I’ve ever had in my life and didn’t know what is wrong with me. I had to have my gallbladder removed and since then I’ve been much better but am still affected if I eat fatty foods. I can no longer eat anything fried. So I’ve adjusted my diet. I also had a gallstone in my bile duct as well. That was causing most of my problems. I’m feeling so much better nowadays.

Yeah. It’s bad. It basically doubles you over. You can’t do anything except sit with a heating pad (pain meds if in hospital) until it goes away which usually takes 8-12 hours. I take a sleeping pill and sleep through it. Just happened yesterday 😢 I’ve recently discovered digestive enzymes specifically the ones from Whole Foods work amazing juto eat a low-fat diet. Take these with every meal and you should have less attacks. Exercise is also key and skins of apples. What else? Lots of water no soda not too much sugary stuff too. It gets stored into fat and then go to get a lipid panel. A full lipid panel also a full blood test this will let you know if the not absorbing fat or over absorbing fat or whatever problem you have with your gallstones or gallbladder is preventing certain vitamins to not be absorbed, for instance have a vitamin D deficiency Directly related to gallbladder problems-even though my doctor said it’s not, but I’ve been doing a lot of research and how can it not be because I don’t eat a lot of fat because I can’t the smallest amount of fat makes me have an attack spicy food be aware so I basically became a pescatarian focused a lot on Whole Foods. Dark leafy greens all the vegetables, salmon, low res diet on iffy days, fruits (berries) whole grains and fiber, low fat yogurt, soy milk…etc. take a probiotic and digestive enzymes along with a peppermint tummy tamer. I eat at home and if I do eat out it’s always I’m allergic to dairy and butter.

Can it be that the liver works better with lots of vitamin B? Which then helps the bile to get stronger, and dissolve the stones? It sure worked for me. Any studies on this? I think the gallbladder is a very important organ, that should not be removed, unless it threatens your life. I felt like crap when mine did not work properly. It is very hard for the body to take up fat soluble vitamins without a functioning gallbladder, and that can lead to serious conditions, because of malnutrition. I hope this was helpful for somebody out there! Try high doses of vitamin B, but keep it within reason!

@@teymyneytor Thanks. I'll look into it. I've had this problem over 2 years. I take pain meds when it gets unbearable. But the good news is that after numerous extreme pain episodes they seem to be lessening. The Gastrologist I saw admitted that I probably passed some stones. So let it be known if you can make it thru the pain with a few pain meds you can pass stones and perhaps resolve the problem and keep your gall bladder. Of course this may not work with larger stones. They said mine were a whole string of small ones. A sonogram can detect the size of the stones. Or a MRI. A CT scan however is a dangerous procedure exposing you to high levels of radiation. Could lead to cancer. Hope this info helps someone!

I get maybe, 1 attack a year, due to fatty foods that I should avoid. Cream cheese, butter, are the culprits. . In three years I had two gallstone attacks. First thing I do is soak in a hot bath for about 30-45 mins. Sleep on my left side, if the pain is still around, go back for a second hot bath, 30mins. The pain is much less, and goes away after 2 painful hours. I drink one cup of caffeinated coffee in the morning, for me, the caffein helps my gallbladder from attacks. There's a medication called Ursodiol, that shrinks certain stones, however, my doctor doesn't want me to take this medication, he wants me to remove my gallbladder, I told him to Foff. Even with your gallbladder removed, you could still have pain, from bile leakage. If you have pain on a regular basis, then go ahead and remove your gallbladder. In my case, 2 attacks in three years, I'll keep my bladder, be careful what I eat, and make sure to drink my cup of joe early in the morning.

Can one of the doctors please tell me why you cannot surgically remove the gallstones but leave the Gallbladder in place? It seems that Gallbladder removal can cause all kinds of issues including bowel cancer. My mother had IBS after gallbaldder removal and leter in life developed bowel cancer which killed her. The explanation I was given as to why they don't surgically remove just the stones was that they would return. However, in older people in their middle age or above, if it's taken over 50+ yrs to develop them, then the chances of them redeveloping before they die again seems unlikely in most cases especially if they developed in part because of a poor fatty diet which is then modified for a healthier diet later. So why can't just the stones be removed if the patient is middle aged or above? It seems ludicris that surgeons remove the whole gall bladder with the risks of IBS / Bowel cancer etc when a simple removal of the stones would be likely to offer a lifetime cure. BTW I'm talking about stones here that are too large for ultrasound or dissolution treatments.

Go to Canada or Mexico for the surgery. Super cheap. You can make a vacation out of it. Surgery and post-op vacation. Buen viaje! Or you can just do a payment plan to pay the 5K and but talk to them beforehand. You can also write your insurance company a letter asking for coverage for it. You can also ask an experienced insurance rep from your health carrier to help you find a health insurance company that will cover the surgery. You pick a new doctor. Ask the rep if you need a referral to see a specialist. You see that doctor if you need a referral first, then show him the proof that you have a stone or see a specialist to confirm you need surgery. I had to do this for my breathing problems and my heart and back problems. Good luck. Cuidate

@@davenstorm7271 he is doing much better thank you for your prayers!. his gi totally healed from almost all the ulcers but its still sensitive and sometimes theres still blood in his stool. a doctor gave him antibiotics for a spider bite and it basically killed all the good bacteria in his gi. the protective lining in his gi was hurt and ulcers formed and caused him immense pain for many months. he healed up pretty well last summer and has been ok since! im sorry to hear about your girlfriend. i will pray for her… a fever you say? its hard to say, he had a really really rough few months from august 2020-December 2020. his symptoms appeared feverish at times. he had a large ulcer on his illeocecal valve that would cause those hours of intense, incapacitating pain if he got too stressed or miss timed taking his medication. has your girlfriend been tested for covid? i had a terrible fever and the worst headache i had to go with it for several days back in august 2020, might of been covid. i still had my sense of taste and smell though and breathed fine, just a terrible fever and head ache. …i never seen someone suffer like that intensely for such a long and would never wish that on anyone.

@@Soviless99 Thank you so much for getting back to me ! My goodness your brother has been through alot wow that's horrible I pray he continues to improve and do well and I thank you for your prayers for her ! She started back in late 2019 throwing up alot after she would eat it just got worse from there then in Feb of 2020 she decided then to go to her doctor right before covid was breaking out . They ran ultra sound on her it was good then CT scan of gall bladder it was good so then I had to begg them to do a Hydascan cause I wanted to know what the function was of her gall bladder sure enough it showed her gall bladder was only functioning at only 20% by March 12th we finally got in to see a specialist but he said even though she was puking constantly that she would be fine . It was crazy I was like she's puking her guts out man ! so march 17th I became symptomatic and we had gotten covid I'm pretty sure we got it from his office, it hammerd us both hard taking me 46 days to get over and her 21 . So because of our long battle with covid 2 years ago now she just hasn't been back to her doctor about it since . These 2 years has been tough with her vomiting on and off constantly. But now this past week she's been disoriented and hurting above her belly button and to her right side and running a fever for 7 straight days now . We know it's not covid as you done know yourself it makes you feel so freaking awful you don't need a test to tell you that you have it . Anyway I'm just concerned that she might have a infection going on in her body due to her gall bladder and that's what's causing the fever .

The heart play a big part in it. Which hit the liver and the liver hit the bladder which causes stones. Always something. Therefore. Humble ur Heart, which is not easy 2 do sometime. 💞

Read, Andres Moritz 'The Amazing Liver & Gallbladder Flush', I did & after 4 flushes I passed about 1300 stones of many sizes & shapes. I will do them once a month until I get 2 clear flushes in a row. If you do not have gall/liver stones you will clean out the sludge & rejuvenate your body. It is an amazing LIFE CHANGING experience.
