I thought the actress did not fit Cersei at all. Until I reached 0:27. The way she says "Tell me my future, or I'll have your two boring eyes gouged out of your head." was amazing. That's the Cersei I know.

This actress did good she really captured Cersei's self entitlement and arrogance to a tea!

Cersei thought the prophecy pertained to Margaery Tyrell, which is why she had her marginalized, imprisoned, and eventually killed. I wonder how soon into season seven she'll realize that Margaery wasn't the queen the witch was referring to in the prophecy.

Cersei: "Only three?" Maggy: "That's one." Cersei: "What?!" Maggy: "That's two." Cersei: "Why can't you make sense, you damned witch?!" Maggy: "That's three. Get out."

I love this. Cersei always wanted to avoid this prophecy and after everything she did, the new queen burried her with her own castle.

The prophecy was right. 3 kids, none of them from the king. She was pregnant on season 8 but died before the fourth. She was Queen for a while, and now comes another, younger and more beautiful (Daenerys or Sansa).

Apparently Cersei has a brother named Ser Bricks of House Castle.

I just realized “Gold, their shrouds” doesn’t just refer to the fact the children would be buried in Lannister gold/colors, it refers to the Lannister machine itself as what killed them.

She is very close' Her friend was Melara Hetherspoon, she fell down a well and died not longer after, some speculate Cersei pushed her so she could never tell anyone bout the prophecy.

Maggy also foretells that she will die at the hands of the valonqar, which is High Valyrian for "little brother." Cersei assumes this to be Tyrion, one of the reasons she harbors such animosity towards the smallest Lannister, or maybe this refers to Jaime. They're twins, she was born first. That's why Cersei hates Tyrion so much, not only because their mother died at his birth, because this prophecy.. She expects him to kill her but I think eventually Jaime to do that :)

Since there is no mention of the Volanqar then why is it Cersei hates Tyrion so much? Because he killed her mother through childbirth? No it was because she thought that he would kill all of her children and then kill her. Which is why she has been so paranoid around Tyrion her whole life. Leaving out the Volanqar makes no sense.

The witch actually cursed her using blood magic😂 had Cercei not been so eager for prophecy and so rude to the witch things may have been different. That laugh at the end was like she just tricked Cercei into giving her her blood so she could curse her! That was her way of saying FYou! 😂

I think the younger beautiful queen is supposed to be Lyanna, as not only does she take Rhaegar from both cersei and Elia but Robert is so in love with her ghost he says her name on the night he and Cersei Consumate their marriage. She also takes everything she holds dearly in terms of power

I have a small idea ... what if Margaery is the younger, more beautiful queen the prophecy talked about? Because if you think about it, Margaery's presence in Kings Landing kinda kickstarted catastrophic events. It was Olenna who poisoned Joffrey to protect Margaery, which led to Tyrion getting arrested, then him needing to be trial by combat that killed Sir Myrtell, which pissed off the kingdom where Myrcella was staying in, leading those Snake Girls kill her. That's two children of Cersei's down. Also, Tyrion getting betrayed by Shae led him to kill both her and Tywin, which made Cersei lose her father and let's be honest, Tywin was the one with most wisdom (however ruthless) compared to Cersei and Joffrey. He could have made Tommen a better king, which leads to the fourth point ... Margaery married and manipulated Tommen so when she died, he killed himself ... all this happened because Margaery was to marry Joffrey so Olenna killed him, leading to catastrophic events that took what Cersei dears most ... her children, I guess? (I don't know if I got some wrong ... I didn't have enough time to watch the full series even though I really want to, so I just watched the recaps Cramped) Don't get me wrong, Margaery's one of my fav characters so I'm not blaming her for anything, I'm actually kinda impressed. But thats just my theory ...

A lot of people don't seem to understand that this prophecy is referring to Margaery, not Daenerys. Margaery replaced Cersei as queen when she married Joffrey/Tommen. As a result of this, Cersei was demoted to queen mother; she was "cast down".

Some spot on casting. She even kind of looks like a girl version of Joffrey.

Surely Cersei had 4 children because I remember in season 1, Cersei told a story about how her first son (with black hair) died of a fever and her husband punched a hole in the wall to show he cared.

Well after 06x10, we know the new queen is Dany.

I think of this scene every time I heard people having zero sympathy for Cersei or when they box her in as the worst villainess in Game of Thrones. I always ask, “Would you have been able to hear this hard fate predicted to you, slowly watch it occur despite all your efforts, would you still find some reason to be happy, kind and gentle?” It is for sure possible that one could be humbled by such a life, and find greater sympathy for those who have it hard as well. But it’s also completely understandable why she would become a wreck of a human being, callous and cruel and conniving. Imagine if your childhood dreams were all foretold to come half-true and half some fucked up parody of what you imagined?

I hope there will be a "Second Part" with the Vanloqar.

I will never forgive HBO for removing “and when your tears have drowned you, the valonqar shall wrap his hands around your pale white throat and choke the life from you” prophecy that was in the books. Valonqar translates to little brother in Valyrian. Had they not taken the route they did with Tyrion, this could of obviously been about him. Jaime was actually born after Cersei, however, and (most of us) had all hoped to see him kill her instead of that bs death they gave them in season 8. I wanted to watch Jaime cram that golden hand into her throat and crush it with his other hand! Would of been so much more satisfying-she would of choked just like that vile son of hers. I just got to this point in the books which is why I decided to watch this clip and I’ve always been annoyed about this since watching season 8. All of that being said, it would of also been satisfying to watch Tyrion strangle her, too. I’m not up to Tyrion’s story in the books again just yet so I don’t know what George R.R. Martin has planned for him. Just hope he follows through on this prophecy and Cersei is choked to death by one of her brothers!

Funny how pirates once again get to see shit before people who actually pay. If there is one thing people should learn from this is that oldschool TV with regular scheduled programming and weekly episodes is an antiquated and idiotic method of delivering content, so is pretty much any way of delivering content through TV for that matter. This is the age of online on demand content. They should just upload the entire damn season to their website and allow people to stream the episodes at whatever pace they want. Hell, better yet just do a simultaneous worldwide bluray release on top of that instead of a whole year later. Piracy is primarily a service and access issue these days. There will of course be people who always pirate no matter what but most do it because they don't want to subscribe to some expensive cable package just for one show, dont even have that option in their country or are simply done with TV in general. The more accessible you make your product the less it will be pirated. Just look at what Steam and other digital download platforms did for gaming.
