According to HBO, The president gets more power and the people stay quiet and the president still gets to wage war against every country in the world. My main reasons for reading the books was for more Margery/Olenna, Tyrion/Bronn stuff but the show used them a lot better though a lot of seasons in my opinion.

Margaery was a nice lady but her death was obvious. Cersei was evil and Margaery tried to send her away to the rock. She should have killed Cersei instead but that isn't her.

She's almost certainly planning on fighting a greatly diminished white walker army but if she can make enough wildfire she might be able to hold them at Moat Cailin or implement scorched earth strategy where wildfire is used to destroy every castle that falls to the white walkers so there numbers steadily get worn down. However I don't think she is smart enough to really realize what will be the best use of her troops and resources

I kinda think it makes enough sense for the people to not revolt. The Lannisters have been half running the Crown since the Mad Kings time. Plus, the House of Baratheon (Robert's "3 kids"), all his bastards except the one that got away by row row row your boat, and even Princess Shireen is dead. As is Stannis's shadow baby thing, which l doubt would've held up (lol) and Renly who didn't have children. So I can see the logic in it. Doesn't hurt that she's a sadist, with a giant walking zombie with her and she'll blow you up if she's having an off day. Aside from her maniacally cruelty that make people afraid, I can see, during war, how she could sit as "acting Queen" but would be replaced once things return to normal. Even Henry Tudor 8th allowed Catherine of Aragon hold the throne for him when he was in battle. Maybe acting regent was the term?

Cersei was regent to Joffrey for a couple years, but reverted to being the Queen Mother when he became an adult. In the show Tommen didn't need a regent. In the books he's still a boy and she reverted to the regent title. Part of her problem is that she wants it both ways. She wants her kids to be the king, but also still wants the title and power of Queen.

I think she's paranoid about the prophecy (which led her to antagonise the Tyrells and try to take down Margaery which blew up in her face) and hateful (particularily towards Tyrion) which led to many bad decisions aswell. And she's blinded by power and thinks she can't be defeated and ignorant of the real threat. She also thinks, she can secure her hold on power through fear alone. When in reality it only makes her reign more unstable.

Well I mentioned it a little bit -- the Maggy the Frog prophecy is a big piece of many of her blunders. Why else? She felt she's been slighted her whole life as a woman! She thinks she's a female Tywin...which is beyond dumb. Haha

She's a narcissist who feels her plans fail because she's a woman and that she's been at a disadvantage all her life. She's extremely short sighted and doesn't think about long term consequences. She let's her ego get in the way of her decision making and that often ends up resulting in more enemies than before.

BattProductions mentions it at the 7 minute mark. She thinks she's much smarter than she really is. She's surrounded by some very smart and conniving men and she feels that she's up to their level and as a woman she goes out of her way to try to prove it. It blows up in her face more often than not. Tywin calls her out on it in the book and show that when it comes down to it she's petty and has no idea what she's doing. She's motivated by jealousy, narcissism, and a degree of inferiority. She also thinks she needs to be seen as Tywin's heir. She thinks Jaime is too wrapped up in his sword swinging and vanity to be a responsible adult and Tyrion is just a monster not worthy of being called human. She got this way by confusing the money and prestige of being a Lannister with being intelligent and truly powerful. The men around her (Baelish, Varys, Tywin, Robert, Stannis, etc) all earned their reputations through great thinking and actions. She got to her position through her beauty and money. Now that she's in charge, she deludes herself into thinking she also got there by her wits.

i think it's all to do with her growing up as Tywin Lannister's daughter. She grew up watching this super powerful man, always getting his way, being an excellent strategist, and she thinks she's the same way. She doesn't realize that Tywin was much smarter than she ever was. It's just like Tywin told her, he distrusts her because she's not as smart as she thinks she is. She grew up in this comfortable environment, married the king.. she never saw any of her schemes fail. She thinks she's invincible.

Just making a guess here is all -- Roose is smart, but only so smart. Like turning on Robb...was only going to last for so long. He got Winterfell, had the Crown's backing, then lost it immediately when Ramsay married Sansa...the North hated the Boltons. It was a losing strategy no matter what.

I don’t think he would’ve ordered the execution of all the Winterfell banner men and caretakers in Kingslanding. 4. If Cersei was not in charge, there would’ve been more good people alive to prepare for the coming war against the White Walkers.

The reason Cersi is pissing on the peace treaty is HBO. HBO turned the heir to castery rock into a full blown moron. Right after the death of Tywin, Jamei should have returned to the rock and assume command of the Lanister forces. Instead he was still serving as kings guard to Tummon. Tyrion was on exile and Cersei ploting to do what exactly with Margery. If Jamei had taken over the Lannister forces and married one of Sam's sisters, he would have grown his influence and be in a better position to Control Cersei. It is a shame they turned Jamie into this stupid man who has to take orders from his sister who proclaimed herself queen and making herself heir to Castery Rock. Cersei and Tyrion want the same thing but what I don't know till this day is What Jamei want. Should I take his word for it? He wants to die in the arms of the woman he loves. If that is all there is to him, HBO should have allowed Arya to kill him along with the Freys and send his faceless head to Cersei with a note that reads, "Winter is Coming". That would have been more entertaining than purposeless Jamei Lannister.

They can scale it up to 100.000 super soldiers afterall there are about a million people in the city and a city that is starving will easily get 100.000 men to sign up for Cersei's new super soldiers.
