Things are heating up. Starship has achieved more and more of its test goals, and an orbital flight attempt finally seems imminent. With the Falcon 9 and the reuse of first-stage boosters, SpaceX has demonstrably revolutionized space travel forever. And while at least some rocket builders are trying to keep up with the Falcon 9, Starship wants to take reuse to a whole new level. Elon Musk sets complete and rapid reuse as the goal for the Starship program. In today's video, we clarify why full reuse is so hard, what tricks SpaceX wants to use to make it happen. What Mechazilla is and how it works, and what SpaceX actually does if the concept doesn't work out.
