Great video Christina! I ordered and received one of the shaped pillows of my cat. It was a clear 300 DPI photo that I sent for the pillow. The pillow turned out so horrible it is unusable. I will be requesting a new one from printify

Yes definiyely send them a photo! Id hope that it was a mistake and it isnt their standard. I've seen some that turned out so well!

The Custom Shaped Pillows on Printify are listed as 'Target Market' - China. Delivery times to the U.S. as 10-30 business days, with starting shipping prices from $13.99-$29.19. A bit pricey, and how would you explain the long delivery times?

I wouldnt lie about where theyre coming from to your customers- these might be best for your own website. People will see the tracking anyway so you should be clear about where they are produced

On printify catalogue page search up "custom shaped pillows" and you should still be able to find them in your prudcts!

About the pillows, they are made in and shipped from China so won’t you get a lot of bad reviews from customers that wait too long?

etsy is slowly killing themselves. this new opening new shop rules is definitely turning me away from the platform.

Im undecided! I think it does help weed out all the scammers on there recently. Just not a fan of the payment reserve. But the $15 to open a store I think stops people who arent serious from creating. And increased identity checks is needed too. Theres been too many just opening stores that steal and then shut down, and they reopen a new one the next day

I heard etsy was eliminating mock ups other than the POD mock ups?

nope! you just need to make sure you use a mockup of the EXACT product. So you cant use a generic tshirt, it must be a bella canvas tshirt mockup if you sell tshirts. So no AI mockups or mockups that arent the brand that youre selling

IF YOU had to choose between canva or kittl which would you keep? They are both in the 15 a month range and it is too much for me right now since my store is new and only has a few sales.

It was Canva up until this new update- now I like the idea that I can keep my design file WITH my mockups, so im going to start using Kittl more this week and seeing if I want to transition. Its ahrd though as I have years of files all on Canva ahah

Can you assist me, please? I'm currently assessing the competition for the sipper glass. I truly adore the product, and it aligns perfectly with my store's offerings. However, in order to make a profit of $5, I'd have to set the price at $25. To avoid losing money on multiple orders with free shipping for purchases over $35, this pricing is necessary. I'm facing a challenge competing with sellers offering the same product for $15 with free shipping. Do you think it's worthwhile for me to invest the time and effort into listing them despite this?

Don't compete- start creating these cups in niches that is hasnt been offered in yet! Maybe certain careers, certain interests. These are popular already in just a few common niches but by meeting a new need and applying to a new niche, you wont have to compete on price :)
