Just curious, do you not have any upper eyelids or are you perhaps suffering from a condition? I actually had my lower brows swell practically overnight last year, covering up my upper eyelids, and I can't figure out why. Thanks for the content, cheers!

Fun Fact, especially since Tekken 8 just came out: Hwoarang, the Korean Taekwondo character in Tekken, has a move called Backlash. It’s still pretty strong in 8 but it was HATED in 7 because it basically led to half your life gone. People started calling that move ‘Marn’s Leg.’ You’d even hear the announcers call it that at big events.

@@vanessaashford9203 I’ve smelt ‘rotting flesh/skin’ before & it’s a smell you never forget. The smell actually sticks to you. It was a homeless man in McDonald’s years ago & he was being treated by 🚑 , they had to shut mcd down & you could smell it outside. He had maggots too. Poor bloke. I always wondered what became of him?? 🥺🤢🥺.

@@miss.l.1563we had a guy like that years ago when I worked in a hospital. He was also homeless, and he’d passed out somewhere and an ambulance brought him to our ER. His pants were so crusty that they had to be cut and peeled off, and his socks had almost melded to his skin (he was also a raging alcoholic who peed himself quite often). He had swollen feet and ankles from endless walking, an open slash where another homeless guy had cut him with a pocket knife, among other things. They also found countless ulcerations on his legs filled with maggots, so they had to take him into the shower room and scrub/scrape them off. The ER had to be cleared out for an hour or so because he smelled so bad, anywhere they took him had to be terminally cleaned, and the staff that worked on him had to get tested for all manner of things. Oddly enough, the maggots kept the wounds cleaner than any surgeon could, and he made a (relatively) full recovery. It didn’t help with his homeless problem, but he at least was able to avoid having his legs amputated.

This is legitimately how my dad’s legs look. He’s played WOW every day since it came out. Never walked and lived off ciggies and coffee and gamed all day since retirement. Recently the clots were so bad that one of his legs swelled until it split open. Then they had to do surgery where they peeled open his leg from groin to ankle and sorted out the clots. Now he has to do it all again for leg two. Please folks. At least do a lap around the block. Update: apparently he’s shifted to Warframe now. (Should add that this isn’t me saying that this is what the guy in the video has. Just bringing up the similarities in appearance and reminders to go for a walk before your legs look like this).

I have worked on an ambulance for 10 years. I've seen this kind of thing. The guy was extremely overweight, didn't work, surrounded by cheeseburger wrappers and Mountain Dew (literally, I know it sounds cliché') and was actually rotting in his gaming chair. The man had open sores all over his legs and elbows. The skin was rubbed away and they were just festering open wounds that were necrotizing. He didn't work. His wife and underage daughter just brought him soda and burgers while he sat at his PC gaming. I love gaming. I have every console and a gaming PC, so I'm not hating on gamers, I am one. I've seen every gross nasty thing you can imagine. This stood out to me because it was such a slow self-induced condition. His flesh was rotting. Smelled worse than feces. He could barely bend his legs. I had to move and maneuver his legs to fit on a stair chair to get him out of the residence. He almost didn't fit down the narrow staircase (of course he was on the 2nd floor). While moving his legs, puss flowed down and laminated my arms, past the protective gloves I was wearing. This mans skin was gray...like pick up a gray crayon, gray. He was the most disgusting epitome of a caricature of a disgusting gamer you could imagine. He hadn't gotten up to use the bathroom in about a week and could no longer walk. It was absolutely insane. I've literally been to war and this one gross dude sticks out to me more than most lol. Not really sure what happened to that guy. It was about 3 years ago.

I experienced this exact problem for 15 years. As soon as I hit puberty I started becoming very tired all day every day. Naturally doctors thought I had a sleep problem and treated it as such for 15 years. Then a sleep specialist figured it out after 5 minutes of conversation with me. Turns out I have Narcolepsy, a waking-up problem, not a sleep problem. I never felt refreshed after sleep because I never truly woke up. Now I take a stimulant every day and feel somewhat normal. Go see a sleep specialist, it might change your life like it did mine.

MARNS LEG. One of the holy relics of ATP lore.
@StrawberryNova
@StrawberryNova 4 ай бұрын
Edited for spelling and details Ohhh my gosh, so I actually have HSP! Untreated it can be so so rough and difficult, and it getting out of control can cause kidney and intestinal issues. So while I am a gamer, this came out of NOWHERE when it manifested and I worked a job where I was on my feet a decent amount. It started out looking like I had little red spots but no bumps and no itching. It didn't go away so I went to the hospital, cuz I'd never seen anything like it. They told me I had a staph infection, prescribed an antibiotic and sent me home. I went BACK to the hospital a couple of different times, because it STILL wasn't going away. And THEN I suddenly went rapidly from little red dots to swollen legs, painful purple splotches, hives that burst open into several lesions on my legs, AND a deep black ulcer spot on my right foot that was EXCEPTIONALLY painful. Needless to say, I FREAKED out and called the dermatologist because the hospital hadn't been able to figure it out. When I went to the dermatologist, he took one look at my legs, left the room, and came back with a medical textbook where he could show me and they diagnosed me with Henoch Schonlein Purpura (HSP)! The Dr described it ultimately as an autoimmune disorder. The black ulcer was caught very shortly before it could become a major problem and thankfully it was still fixable. Getting it fully under control took 3 months of high dosage steroid, and in that time I also ended up with a secondary infection. My legs were bandaged for months, I had to change out dressings regularly and use a steroid cream and antibiotic cream, as well as oral antibiotics, to get everything managed. They had to try a few different antibiotics because the infection wasn't responding, and then do a swab to find the right one. That swab was THE most pain I have ever experienced and I've had a tooth removed with no numbing. I can tell you that there were legitimately times that the pain and throbbing were absolute AGONY and it ultimately left me with some major scarring on my feet and legs as well as severe nerve damage in one ankle. It was pretty traumatic, as well, and small flare up on my legs and hands can cause a full blown panic response because those months were AWFUL. HSP is honestly scary to deal with and very painful, and before it was outright mentioned in the video, I was wondering if that was what was going on, because it IMMEDIATELY reminded me of my experience. It can be recurring once you've experienced it, but more often than not the first outbreak is the worst.

This was my disease! Henoch Schonlein Purpura. I Got HSP at 21, was in the hospital a couple weeks, and it took over a year to ween off the prednisone 😑 The burst capillaries were painless but my kidneys were being attacked and the abdominal pain was the worst thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. Swollen joints would sometimes make it unbearable to stand up. Chemo and steroids did nothing to slow it down. After 6-7 weeks it went away by its own accord and I made a full recovery, including my kidneys.

My late grandpa got gamer leg in world war ii and had a limp for the rest of his life. Had to wear compression wraps so the blood didn't just pool in that one leg and necrose. IIRC it was CVI due to long periods of sitting and standing in his role as a signal core officer. In the end it was the lung cancer that got him though.

It was horrid and I'm glad because I never want to ever do that again. But it's never truly gotten better and I've gone to the er, quick. Are, my pcp. From just seeing the image this is my Rx: Severe folliculitis with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (darkened scar tissue). Weight & and being sedentary also negatively affects bloodflow, and thud legs with decreased bloodflow make the wounds less likely to heal; additionally there could possibly be some immune-comprimisation due to lacking nutrition (specifically iron, zinc, vitamin c and folic acid, possibly B12 and magnesium) and/or contributing factors that come from morbid obesity (pre-diabetes or actual diabetes, insulin resistance at any rate), all of which lead to ongoing skin infections and causing the scars of healed wounds to be that horrible dark purple/black colour (though this can vary according to skin tone). There could be elements of impetigo, but the characteristic golden, oozing scabs do not appear in the picture as far as I can see. Other possibilities: - hives, heatrash or photosensitivity with some kind of secondary infection - A reaction to mold, bacteria or something like EBV, which can cause ulcerated pityriasis lichenoides acuta (this does look like what the image shows, but I think there is more than one thing happening, as it shows purpura AND some kind of other infection-could even be MRSA) - porphyria of some kind, such psuedoporphyria, cutanea tarda, etc - some kind of small-vessel vasculitis, such as Henoch-Schönlein purpura, or Urticarial vasculitis - some kind of unknown, drug-induced skin reaction - uncommon herpes, coeliac or hepatitis or even tuberculosis dermal presentation Edit: lol so we don't really knoe either way 😂 Good to see a few of the things I thought it might be were mentioned tho!

Luckily some of this is reversible. I had poor circulation in my lower legs from smoking but now I run almost every day. Unfortunately when it comes to something like smaller veins, the body can't fix everything. I take a lot of different supps to stay on top of the lingering issues, but still, don't give up!

Funny because Chubbyemu used Whang as a actor for one of his videos
