Just came to see if anyone else noticed this 😂 i'm not bitter about it because I can do 4K 120Hz on my PC and sync the lights perfectly with Philips Hue Sync desktop app 👍 ps5 120hz on 4K is rare, usually it's 1440p 120hz which sync box can handle perfectly

250 for the led strips another 250 for the hub. 500 for lights ? Rather use govee and pay 80 and deal with a little camera

@AJ-Palermo see the camera can be useful if you're not connected with an external device while watching KZfaq or Netflix on the TV itself. I wish there was another way to sync the TV itself with the lights rather than having to depend on a camera

You connect the main hdmi from the sync box to your tv and all the rest of your hdmi connections you have on your tv like fire stick, ps/xbox etc you plug those into the sync box(5) so now you only have 1 hdmi to your tv everything else is run through the sync box.There’s 2 separate apps the sync box requires the hue sync app so just download it The set up is really easy the app pretty much guides you once paired the app has a game mode and that’s it the box does the rest it’s awesome bro

I have mounted bracket fans behind my mounted TV. I have lights and my console is mounted behind the TV as well. So I needed it to be cooled back there. Each one has 3 fans and about i inches in height it's perfect one brings fresh air in the other pushes the air flowing through, out.

Plus the nice things about the fans is the 25 watt usb connections in them perfect for powering my external ssd and other for my fire stick. I had to get a fire stick bc the phillips box doesn't support my smart TV apps for movies.

I've got so much crap behind my TV because of the sync box. Zip ties holding wires, wires running through my wall so no cables show. Ethernet gig port to a Shield, Roku ultra and 4k Blu-ray player. Not to mention my dolby atmos soundbar. Thankfully I hung the TV in a corner so theres room behind it. I tell my friends to look behind my TV just to see their face lol. I cant believe Hue can't update this sync box, yet they come out with more and more lights. Ugh...

@@TheRomi18 There literally is no HDMI Sync Box by Philips Hue with HDMI 2.1. Even their support said, that there are currently no plans to release one which supports 4k@120hz, especially since they sell the Hue Sync App on Samsung Smart TVs.

You pay a lot of money and dont get any lights on the bottom of the tv. Notice the lights in the bottom are coming from the entertainment center. Those would be sold seperate.

Good old corporate greed, easily over £500 for that kit. I took the diy approach using a raspberry pi with HyperHDR installed on it, roughly around £100 for everything and the end result is the same.
