Gamma 1 could possibly be the best Rock album ever done in my humble opinion. Only 693 views ? These kids are lost . I will say a prayer for them , hope they find their way : )

+ Dan Both 1 & 2 were smokers. Not a bad track on either one of them. 3, I wasn't as thrilled with. The only tracks I really cared for off of that particular album were Right The First Time, Stranger, and Condition Yellow. 3 good tracks out of 9 made that album pretty much a stinker in my book.

Well said. I'm 21 and alone but what a great way to be alone as said by a fellow musician of abstract expressionism

I saw him multiple times being from California. Through all of the iterations of what he did. I got to see him at one of his last shows. Ronnie will live in my heart forever.

I used to live in Fairfax Calif. I'd sit and talk shop with Davey, where he used to hang out. Maybe he still does? Even saw some of his shows in Marin, and talk to him(suggest songs from Trower or Ronnie)after. Very nice guy he is. Thanx for keeping two of my favorite musicians legacy goin. God Bless and R.I.P Ronnie.

WHEW! Such an emotional night April 27, 2012...I wasalong with my broJoe+longtime pal Brian able to follow Ronnie's friend+custom guitar builder into The Regency Ballroom@ 1 p.m. 6 or 7 hours before showtime! Security was incredibly tight but they hadn't arrived yet, God+Ronnie were looking out for us that Friday, way too many things happened just perfectly for it to be an accident... We all agreed Ronnie and God were up there knowing we'd traveled the 12-hour round trip pilgrimage drive from Anaheim. We HAD to be there. It was like a Ronnie Family Reunion and Ronnie had just passed 7 weeks prior. So it was a chance to both share our grief, and get healed by his incomperable music+contribution through his incredibly diverse musical cannon+Family Tree. No disrespect to MONTROSE w/Joe Satriani playing Ronnie's guitar parts, but GAMMA with MARC BONILLA was the emotional highlight+if anyone "stole the show" that night it was GAMMA with MARC BONILLA. Gamma hadn't played together onstage since 1982, and after 30 years, only had one afternoon of rehearsal! Man were they TIGHT! Denny Carmassi was in his early 60's here and absolutely freaking brilliant. Everyone was. Thanks Ronnie for GAMMA, MONTROSE, and all the epic jazz-rock instrumental projects post Gamma!

I was there as well and I agree that GAMMA's performance that night was truly special. My friends and I were so big into GAMMA back in the day and it was a very emotional experience to see them after all these years performing (and sounding so good) in honor of Ronnie. I wasn't familiar with Marc Bonilla going into that night but he was so freakin' good! Hagar, Satriani, Carmassi, and Church were also great that night but I find myself regularly revisiting the videos of GAMMA's performance. Such an epic show and tribute to Ronnie.

If anyone deserves the right to play this song. It's Sir Bonilla. And Sir Denny.
