I like how every military person they bring in immediately notices pointing a gun at a teammate. Shows that it was drilled into their heads over and over again and it makes for a nice detail like in Borderlands 3 and other first person shooters where your characters will bring their gun down when facing towards friendlies.

When I was playing the latest COD campaign; Cold War, when you have an ally in front of you, the guns are always pointed away from them. Nice little attention to detail by the devs. When I first saw that, I was reminded of the spec ops guys saying "pointing a gun at an ally is a big no-no"

I think it would be awesome If every military guest that was on this channel played one mission in Arma or Squad together, It would be very interesting to actually see them communicate and navigate their way through the game.

Look up Jester814. He wasn't combat but was a Comms guy. He runs Mil-Sim ops with quite a few other ex-militaries and some non-military guys. Rather fun to watch at times.

@Filip: It would be interesting to see the guests put their irl training to a virtual test. I see a problem with that though. These guys aren't gamers, or were gamers but haven't played in years. They would have to be first taught how to play games in general or reacquainted with gaming as a whole before we could see anything "cool."

Iranian here: technically this mission is in Tehran Iran, and we have a lot of stray cats but not a lot of dogs. Also the way they made tehran look, it actually looks really nice, doesn't look like a warzone from the sniper view. Also for whatever reason it shows everyone in Tehran as Arab? 🤷🏻♂️ specially the opposing forces don't look like Iranian operatives even when they take their badges off in places like syria. Kind of looks like an Iraqi Tehran😁

As an Iranian they didn't replicate Tehran that well. Especially on Tehran highway some of the buildings on the side look like mud huts

@Nathan-DTS i have a very good memory when it comes to my favorite game in one of my favorite FPS series. Thunder Run was my second favorite mission and i liked Miller, so having to see him being executed has always stuck with me.

Shooting out lights was always a weird mechanic. I think the old Splinter Cell games were first to use it. It goes hand in hand with the efficient silencer mechanics. If you hear a slightly less loud "bang" and a light cracks, and then another. That is a lot more obvious than if the streetlight had just been left on. We had a game where three players are hiding in a room. A goon walks in, flips the lightswitch. The players want to stay hidden so they flip an off switch behind the cubicle they hide in. The goon notices the light going out immediately, and pulls a gun.

I like it when soldiers point out the realistic things that could happen and when they show their appreciation towards the graphics, it’s never gonna be like real life but it’s more fun when someone points out the good things too instead of only talking about what couldn’t happen and how something is unrealistic.

still is one of my favorite games from the Battlefield franchise. 4 is great, but the tank battles in 3 were so much more fun, having to reposition using the Reactive Armor. Also NO AA, jeez, i STILL hate that about BF4.

@@bagelmaster2498 AAs were usually the thing that would ruin your kill streak. everything else was fair game. Little bird is lots of fun as well. AAs just melt you and it’s hella annoying lol it can really control an area

This guy knows his stuff, but here is what I wanna see. I wanna see an episode where you take the expert and put them into one of these games missions. What I mean is get them setup so they can actually play the mission. Then film it so we can see exactly how they would do it from their training. I personally would love to see that experience with a lot of the people you have brought on here. On another note I love the content it’s a great channel all around I love the more military based ones myself as I am currently enlisted myself and it just entertains me to see games that I played as a kid played back and given that experts view and feedback on how it should go. I feel like this channel can also help the mil-sim style games evolve into a more realistic breakthrough hearing these guys feedback on their games.

Bit late, not a sniper myself, but I've played the game you're on about. Found that the scope they gave you was completely scuffed and didn't actually line up to the crosshair. Also didn't have enough ability to turn to shoot at enemies on the sides if needed- spent all of the first mission missing three shots then getting shot down by a guy halfway off the screen.

games were always made for money and there’s still hella heart put into games nowadays, and besides, developers WANT to make their games look better because that’ll being in the money, and interest (although art style is usually more important then pure graphics)
