@@kikusui8881I can understand the perspective for calling Gang starr more timeless but simply because it’s smoother in sound and is much more playable at different ocassions, but saying Wu-Tang didden’t age Well is absolutely crazy and calling yourself a fan of 90’s hiphop while doing it even more, they’re the prime example of it. But i have no problem with calling Gang starr the best to ever do it but it’s hard to compare an actual group with a duo of a dj & MC probably many people who think Gang starr is guru’s name and it’s just a rapper

Gang Starr is the ultimate under dog. They’ve always been there behind the scenes, and they’ve worked with some of the biggest rappers on some of the biggest songs. No one ever seems to talk about them, but when they do it’s always in the best light imaginable.

For me, "Moment of Truth" is the best Gang Starr album (and it's really HARD to put this one in font of the others, given the fact that there's no single bad album in their discography) IDK, everything is just right where it's supposed to be with this one and Guru and Premier absolutely perfected and mastered their skills up to that point. And the fact that it came out in 1998, when hip hip was not nearly as strong as it used to be just makes it even more valuable. One of the few beacons of light to follow in the dark of the perishing hip hop scene of late 90's.
