Күн бұрынI got a hole in my inflatable hot tub and I had to find a way to fix it. I currently have a Coleman Saluspa and I have enjoyed it tremendously. I always had a fear that this thing could pop and get a hole in it, well, it did just that. But no worries, I found a way to repair my inflatable hot tub! #inflatablehottub #hottub #saluspa

UPDATE! Full transparency. So, after a month this started to wear off for me and I ended up purchasing a new top. So, it works as a quick temp fix, but for a long term solution, I would get a new top if you need it. I think the water/heat/steam over time got to the shoe goo. Maybe it would have worked with more shoe goo? But, I just went with a new top to be sure.

I’ve tried different products, pool patch/glue, flex seal (total junk) and then there’s Shoe Goo! Works fast , faster then what your showing. The key is to wet your finger and press around the area that you applied it to, like a patch but with out a patch, and to make it smooth. You can also leave it inflated, just let a little air out and work on the area. With in a hr I filled my tub with air, it was a good size hole, just make sure you clean the area applying it to from any dirt and oils.

My Coleman is only two weeks old. It apperantly came complete with a hole, but I can't find it. I just use a large piston hand pump for pool toys and top up every three days.

Does the hot water dissolve it? We tried flei seal glue and it’s just coming off.

Great video I am a new hot tub owner myself I haven't set it up yet Because it's winter here in Ontario Canada but once spring comes I will be for sure thank you for sharing have a beautiful day God bless you always

You get spray foam insulation and fill it then you never have to worry about another hole and it's better in the winter mine survived -42 in Montana give it a shot

Anyone had actual long-term success with Shoe Goo on leaks? I've used Shoe Goo for so many things over the years and initially it worked to repair multiple pinholes along a top seam of my inflatable hot tub but after a few months, it has broken down and gotten gummy. Not sure if it's the summer heat, spa chemicals, or a reaction with the off gassing that vinyl does. Currently looking for another solution.

Nice set up, Did you have to reinforce your deck to hold it? how high up is your deck from the ground?

Does the hot water/steam dissolve the shoe goo? We tried patches and now the Flexi seal glue and it just came right off today. The steam keeps loosening the adhesive.

Yeah, it really has to dry, but it still over time wore off. I ended up buying a new cover.
