I got a side winder door opener for my garage studio. Frees up a lot of wasted space that the old style garage door openers require.

Great video. Can you describe how to tighten the pantagraph a little better. I need mine to be a little tighter. It keeps sliding down.

The eBay seller for the rails sells under 2 eBay accounts and they said that they will not be restocking the rails. I guess they are selling their remaining stock of accessories and that will be the end of it. :(

great video! question if you weren't doing the quadrants and just wanted one big section like 15x15 foot would you just butt up the struts to eachother ? would that work or how would you go about doing that? thanks in advance if you see this and can answer.

Great question! The kit I got came with coupler pieces that allows you to extend the rails. I’m hoping all modern kits would have those.

Oh wow! This is EXACTLY what I need, thanks a lot for the video! Though, I can see that the lights and mic are wobbling quite a lot when extended. I guess there is no way around that? :/

Oh yeah there's no way around the nature of the amount of play with these things. I don't find it a huge problem unless you need to move lights while live and don't have time to stabilize them after.

@@drowles25 No, I didn't. Seemed a bit too much work at the time so I ended up hanging the mic off a gooseneck from the ceiling and mounting the lights to the wall using scissor arms. Works OK but I feel that I need to revisit this still at some point since it's not perfect.

Hey Todd, the pantograph should be on it’s own carriage that goes directly onto a rail. Does your pantograph not have a carriage?

Hi Rob! In the description I link all the parts I used but I know that stock has been in and out and some links went broken. I guess I cleared their stock by talking about it 😅

Hi, what about the 3D printed cable carriers? I’m all about that. BTW your double carriages, do you know if the ID of the C channel across is 1 1/2” I ended up with a bunch that are 1 1/2 OD and do not fit my track #@%! ;)

Onyx Cinema I sent the eBay store a message and the pantograph things are not going to be back in stock! 😒 which is of course the one item you can’t do an easy work around by buying something similar
