most of your audience is english speaking, we love you for what you are, we are of course worried that if putin breaks all the rules that protect sovereignty, we are all in trouble. The joy of your antics needs to change with the times. There is no joy coming out of Russia at this time. What we need to see is people like yourself, using your influence to condemn putins actions, and let him know, he has no right to destroy the lives of 44,000,000 ukranians for nothing more than his own vanity. I'm sorry to bring this here. I am an Australian, and one of billions who think putin needs to take his army home. The world does not care about putins ego, we care about the safety and security of sovereign nations. As a father, I cry for the people of ukraine, their families killed and displaced. I cannot begin to imagine their pain, they did nothing to deserve this. I don't think you had anything to do with this, and again I am sorry for bringing this here. What are your expectations of the population that supports you because you are witty, good natured and totally lovable but live in the west or the rest?

This has gotta be one of your greatest projects yet! IMO you just need to weld on a few more fairings to increase smoothness & flotation pushing thru the snow, maybe enlarge & reinforce the screw blades, & maybe boost the motor, then you'll be cruising right thru snowbanks & bogs at good speed 👍

Seeing your own country invading a neighbour while the whole world is against this invasion, and even the majority of the Russian people themselves being against it. Putin is destroying his own country at the same time he is destroying Ukraine, its trust and reputation it had is now gone, he is isolating Russia for the next decade, the Russian people will suffer because of this. The only thing people can do is protest and hope Putin will be removed of power, only that can safe some of the international trust. Seeing protestors in Russia getting arrested and Russian media/propaganda being controlled... I feel lucky living in the Netherlands, living in a democracy with freedom of speech. I hope this will end soon, for everyone, there are no winners in this. It's not of this time, we all want a stable world with the highest possible well being of all people of earth... and I feel this will set back this goal for at least 10-15 years internationally.

Honestly I loved watching him because of his spirit, you could see in his earlier videos the other people were kind of reserved but they began to become more like him, happier, in a way. They were having fun. They were doing all of those things you always wanted to do when you were a kid but couldn't. He's basically a big kid with the skills to actually do it. But he's Russian. He wont physically die, but I feel that part of him will. Its like someone squishing a firefly with their thumb, its one bug, one man, but the world is a little less special. the gear ratio depends on the turn rate of the screw section. so a gentler curve on the barrels would counter-act the relatively fast output rate of the transmission gearing. Because you have such a high amounts of turns on the barrel section, it's either going to skip, or bite, and launch the car forward (and then start skipping again).

Generally speaking, you get better results the larger your screws are. In particular, you want to increase the bouyancy of the vehicle so that it doesn't dig down. You can reduce the digging by using fewer turns in your spiral, as well, though if you have too few you may be unable to move.

@musthavechannel5262

yup, exactly, the cones need to be long and have the screw start from the tip of the cone. That will possibly help the vehicle glide over the snow instead of digging so deep. Great project nonetheless

Pretty cool. I think if you extended the welded on helical portion to about twice that dimension to "capture" some more snow depth it might work better. To a lesser degree I wonder if cigar shaping the forward end of the barrels might help it to ride more on the top of the snow rather than digging in so much. A flat belly plate or at least some wide skis might help with not dragging so much of the car body through the snow and also keep it more on the surface. Clueless really, but just some thoughts. It seems a track would work much better. I think I've seen snowmobiles make slightly better progress than that. About 75X or so.

The front bit of the drum must be smooth and pointy to reduce snow drag. The pitch of the screw thread must be a lil bit steeper and deeper. The thing is, the threads are so small that they are compressing the snow. Its only after compacting the snow that it is moving forward. Actually things can be calculated depending on the compacting ratio of the snow, the weight of the vehicle, the drag of the screw wheel etc. Picture it as such, the lighter the car, the more efficient it would be, the steeper the pitch angle to some limit, the more it moves forward but it requires higher torque, and not speed from the engine, the shallower it is, the easier and less torque required to move forward but it would be slow and inefficient in that fluffy snow. And the lighter the snow, the deeper should the blades be. Playing with these main three variables would be a fun experiment.
