I got to visit right before the open house and it was beautiful and I was able to get a few ornaments. The gingerbread houses were so adorable, you ladies did such a great job. 🎄🎅

In 1986, on Nov. 20 (my Mother's birthday), I opened an arts and crafts store in Alpharetta, GA. Every year we celebrated the 'birthday' of the store on the weekend that most closely fell to that date - which means that it was almost always just before Thanksgiving. The birthday bashes were the most fun I had every year. Decorating the trees, creating the craft kits, arranging the entertainment (one year we had the local high school string quartet play!) and the food (oh, the food....we did sell candy making and cake decorating supplies, lol). The store was open for 7 years and to this day - nearly 30 years later - I still think about the fun we had, the friends made and the beautiful things we created. Your gingerbread houses this year were reminiscent of 7' tall nutcrackers I made from foam core one year. And a beautiful 'flying' angel with lots of glitter. Thank you for showing us the store and your creativity. It sure brought back some wonderful memories!

What a gorgeous store your family has created! It must take a lot of work to source and order such a delightful variety of ornaments and decor. I haven't seen anything like it in a long time. Looking through all of the unique pieces is such a joy. And it also must be an absolute delight to create. Thank you to your Parents, Monica and Laura and Aaron for bringing this to us. My husband's grandmother made one of those ceramic vintage trees in a pottery class but it's white. I love it. It's a great heirloom to pass down to the kids.

Sourcing items, unpacking, setting up the entire store-it is a TREMENDOUS amount of work that I believe they wouldn’t do if the community did not support them by coming into the store. I can’t tell you how much I look forward to this tour now after the first viewing when I began following GA. Actually, not long after Laura and Aaron moved into their beautiful home. One of my favorite things to do this time of year is head to our local nursery, McDonald's Garden Center in Virginia Beach and take Christmas photos of our children. I really admire and appreciate the time that goes into creating such spectacular displays.

I have finally found myself a Laura style garden center. My dream is to one day visit your families center, but until that can happen I was so excited to walk through the one near me and dream that this is what it could be like to walk through Andrews. Laura, that beautiful round ornament on the first tree you showed us that had all the little silver circles on it reminds me of a traditional Dutch design called a 'button' or 'Zeeuwse knoop'. It is found in silver rings, earrings, and other jewelry in all provinces of Holland. I had a silver Dutch button ring as a child.❤️

We have one of the ceramic trees that my husband's grandmother made when he was a little boy over 40 years ago. I saw them make a come back a couple of years ago. I would spend so much money in your parents shop, lol. Such a beautiful place.

Beautiful lighting for the video! Everything was really easy to see - such amazing Christmas displays all around. Love how clever your family is with turning the garden center into a Christmas store for the holidays. I would decorate the side lot as a Christmas scene & the Gator decorated as a train for children to ride on. Then stop at Santa's workshop to visit Santa, get a cookie, or drop off their wish list, etc. 🎅🚜

Seeing all of the themed trees at your parents Garden Center reminds me so much of that one, even the ceramic tree with the lights that you said 3 years ago was making a comeback (you were right!). I had a shop and I know the work involved in transforming a shop into Christmas. We actually started in late September and our open house was the first week of November. Your parents garden center is beautiful. I appreciate all the work involved putting it all together. Loved the caladiums for Christmas. Such a nice change. ❤

This is making me so excited to pull all of the Christmas decorations out the day after Thanksgiving! Since we are pretty minimalist, instead of black Friday shopping we have a nice breakfast and clean the house and make it beautiful for Christmas. ☺
