Maranta, we call them prayer plant, all of its leafs stand straight up in the evening. My dad, at 76, loves to watch "it pray" every evening...😉🙏

what a cool tour....reminded me of alot of the house plants I used to have....I live in the basement of my house so no daylight and no windows....certainly makes me look forward to when I buy a cottage and will be able to have houseplants again ( and a garden as well of course )....thanks for bringing back all those memories

During a super quick pass in the beginning I saw the sweetest little sleeping kitten figurine! I am happy to report that he is on his way to my house!!!! And, of course, I’ll have to reorder so I can get the little black & white kitty & the gray one. So adorable. Thank you for this sweet tour

Beautifully designed presentation. Over the years I have had a lot of the plants and I have lost a lot of plants. I’m just need a green house. That would make me happy. I move my houseplants outside onto our shady front porch for the summer and back in for the winter. Every summer I swear I'm gonna downsize my collection but every winter I'm so glad to have them tucked into the brightest spaces. Plus I find that the plant lights help banish the winter blues for me as well as nourishing the plants!

Who else wants to get in their pick up and driiiiiiiiiiive all the way to Andrew's Seed Co and load up?! The non-plant merchandise is just as interesting as the beautiful plants. I go to nurseries all the time (well, before Covid) and Andrew's is top notch. Here in Austin we have several superior nurseries and Andrew's is definitely one to visit if we go to the Idaho/Oregon area.

Really enjoyed this tour. There is something so calming about a walk through a garden center with so many plants. Since I was home so much more this year than ever before my plants per room ratio has dramatically increased and I love it (even through the great fungus gnat infestation). Any videos you can do on individual house plant care is always appreciated. Thank you for the tour

I just love all of your videos, when people ask me about landscaping, decorations, or house plants I tell them to search KZfaq for garden answer and whatever they have a question about and you almost always have a video answering their question.

Wow...so inspiring! This video set off the idea bulb in my brain! I had not realized that I could now focus on indoor plants!! YES!! I must go shopping! By the way, I found your channel right after spring break abs since I’m a teacher, I had more time to piddle around in my front beds and basically dug them up and planted them up.Thank you for what you do. Your parents garden center is so lovely! It’s like a gift shop with all the pretty things and plants!

sigh sigh sigh sigh..... this was just dreamy!!! i have a list now... gotta check toxicity to cats and light levels but what a great start to the day... can you ever get sad or frustrated working at a garden center??? esp with birds and all that cute stuff in there???? sounds like a dream job to me!! i just love all those cute knickknacks, too... this was great fun this morning!!! i'm sipping coffee and you're showing me beautiful plants and i want them all... ALL, i tell ya... lol... :)

I just love all the unique display pieces that things are sitting on. So very pretty. Beautiful plants. I want a houseplant that’s pet friendly. One of my cats is so nosy and he chews on everything. Can anyone recommend any plants that are safe? Thanks. 🐱🌿🐶 Maybe Laura will see this and offer some plants as well.

Love me Staghorn ferns 😍 I used to have one so big it hung like a chandelier in an inner atrium of my home. Had to lower it with a pulley contraption to care for it and then raise it back up. Gorgeous specimen. Thank you for the tour 🌸

I don't think I've ever seen a garden center as nicely done up for Christmas and displays in general as your parents store! If I was in your town I would go often to be inspired (and spend a lot $$$$). They definitely know what they are doing and probably enjoy setting it up as much as the customers enjoy coming in to shop. I can tell you and your family members love the store and the business.

I noticed the remodel in your Christmas decoration video. It looks so nice and I bet it's exciting for your parents and staff to have a "Re-Do" of the space! All the plants look so healthy. I love to mix the wondering jew with fushia, in my mostly shade, window boxes. They perform so well! The cordylines are one of my favorite plants...I really love the Red Sister variety. I have planted those with Velveteen coleus and they make a great combo. Thank you for the tour and for taking the time to look at all the plants!

Thank you Laura! Just what I needed. Trees are all bare here so this was so relaxing. I do have house plants that are out growing our sunroom. I will be getting more after seeing your video.we live in Michigan . Temps are warm upper sixties. Bright sunshine just beautiful weather we are having.

I live in Florida and have most of the plants you showed outside. Unfortunately, I have cats and dogs that live indoors. They will eat any plant I bring inside and with most indoor plants being poisonous I can't take the risk. Thank you for sharing the names of the plants. I have so many i got from others as cuttings and never knew the names😁

My dogs are fine, but the cats are compulsive destroyers. They pull them out by the roots, so no cats with the plants. That does limit my plant numbers because of the small space.
