I like the recap questions- I too am a dentist avoider…. Seems to be a very common fear. I had a serious horse accident which messed up my nerves in the right side of my face… so it can be real tricky to get me numb… Maybe an Icecream video or water craft or…. Something similar while it is soooo hot… By the way our low at night 70-75- with 70% humidity 🤪 it definitely helps if it gets cooler at night because then I can be outside at daybreak and get some stuff done but right now- there really is no good time to work outside. Like you said every place has its own challenges. 😊

Ok, Laura, I’m gonna help you out here. 😂 The reason people are so bizarre on the internet (i.e. new shoes = pregnant) is because narcissism is rampant in epidemic proportions these days. These people are so proud of themselves because they watch every day and noticed something new so they MUST rush to the keyboard and comment section to passively “brag” that they noticed something that nobody else noticed because they see themselves as special and your biggest fan. 🙄🤦🏽♀️ I’m not sure where the narcissist thing actually came from, but Oh M’Gosh … it’s SO exhausting. Just keep on doing what you do. We love watching you and your garden and it was a lovely video seeing you and Aaron working together. Have a super great week, and don’t worry about the weirdos. 😉

Our summer last year in Austin was in the 100’s every single day the entire summer with not a drop of rain. It was extremely miserable. It didn’t get below 80 degrees at night. We had a big storm that brought wonderful rain and it was 72 degrees at 4pm yesterday. I went to Home Depot to get compost and got soaking wet it was so much fun I felt like a teenager. ( 65yo)

Aaron as an artist I definitely know the difference in blue and purple but since there are so few true blue flowers and I’m sure among those blue flowers some are too small to make a huge compact and then others might be more of a spring flower and not one tgat enjoys hot summer heat- like for instance a beautiful blue hydrangea - in dry hot heat- Yikes! Then there is that beautiful blue morning glory but by the second year you are out there with a whip and a chair to beat it back where it is supposed to be and third year you find it has surrounded all door and window opening and can’t leave your house. So better we call purple petunias blue and continue to be able to get out of your house.

Try adding white vinegar to your wash, it helps neutralize smells and may help remove the sulfur smell from your clothes.

I'm with Aaron 💯!! It's purple... clearly and it's bothersome to call it red white and "blue" 😅

Well our Southern hot is 100+ and 75% humidity. I've been too Arizona and Nevada. (Im from California) I prefer that heat versus sticky, humid, Southern heat. In Georgia it's intense. Which this weather reminds me of El Salvador weather like in Central America. Except people there don't have A/C. We do. They only have fans. I follow a couple living in Alaska and they can only garden for 4 months. The rest of the time, they are buried in snow. We all try to garden our lovely plants. For the love of plants eh. 😊

As always, I really enjoy your recap videos. Two things I wanted to comment on - 1) We had a microburst here a few weeks ago at 3 am. Scared the you know what out of us. We thought it was a tornado due to the winds, sideways rain, and huge hail. It tore the heck out of our garden. It lasted only 20 minutes but sheesh! 2) I'm the same way with the dentist. I don't numb up easily - usually takes many, many shots. I always ask for the "gas" before fillings or any knd of work other than a cleaning. When they start to drill and I'm not numb, holy smoke! Ask for as much gas as they can safely give you. It definitely helps. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge. I have learned so much.

The bunnies hide in our flower beds. Thankfully they leave a lot of the perrenials alone. Top some of the annuals though. We use repels all around our low vegetable beds, and I put things that I know they love like beans and parsley in the tall bed. The hawks have been around lately, and do keep the.population down. Yes, to answering questions on the recap 😀

I’m with Aaron on the “blue” flowers which are actually purple. I’ve never understood that!
