RAW Garlic has been used as a Natural dog dewormer for centuries.
I wasn't there but I read that as far back as recorded in hieroglyphics the Egyptians used it as an animal wormer.

Garlic is as good for your dog as is it for you but do it with moderation.
It will also give your dog some immunity from biting insects too...

Some common signs of worms in your dog are:
Diarrhea
Scooting or wiping their bum on the floor, grass or dirt
Abdominal pain
Fever
Vomiting
Loss of appetite
Dull coat
Lethargy
Dehydration
Mucus covered stools
Bloody stool
Coughing
Bloating

When I was younger, we had hunting dogs. Vishla bird dogs. From Hungry. Probably because my dad was from Hungry. He would take a hand full of chopmeat and put 5 to 6 cloves of garlic in the chopmeat and the dogs would just wolf it down and we never had a worm problem or a tick problem.

Just found your channel looking for a giant hornet deterrent. I live in the mountains of Japan and have 4 hunting dogs and don’t immunize nor take my dogs to the vet. One of my dogs has the symptoms of worms without any actual signs of worms. I’m going to try this all natural remedy to see if his health improves because I am anti veterinary unless absolutely necessary…. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

In regards to German Sheperd with itchy skin. It might be fungal infection. Our English Pointer was hunting in Arizona. Came back with Valley Fever(fungus). She broke out in terrible skin rash. Also, she had joint swelling. We started making dog food without any grains, including rice. Bone broth, ground beef, carrot, celery. Started regimen of garlic, tumeric and oregon grape root. She is much better, but unfortunately, we will have to continue this protocol for 9 months to a year!

Panacur gets rid of itching, takes about a month, then maybe garlic to keep them away

Epazote is an herb I grow it, self sows like crazy thou I haven't needed to use it for my dogs have no worms, here in S. Co.😮

It's probably because its in the mint family... mint will also work but most dogs HATE mint.

Just thought I would drop by and make known my obervation of those opposed to giving dogs Garlic. The doctors (vets) say amounts over a certain value is dangerous and others opposed to garlic are often big pet food manufacturers like Purina. Those who tell us amounts over a certain measure is bad causes me to ask BAD FOR WHAT? None of them I have seen ever list the amounts of garlic PER POUND OF CANINE WEIGHT. Wonder why this is, surely the amount a tiny palm sized dog can eat without danger is not the same as what a Great Dane could eat.

Garlic is great fir so many things, but isn't it bad for dogs, arent we supposed to fliminate it from their diet? What about fleas on dogs, what's the best eliminator?

Is garlic bad for dogs or not?... it's quite a controversy. I've given my dogs garlic for their lifetime and they're 9 years old and still going strong... There are Vets who say it's okay in limited amounts and those who just vehemently say NO! This is where I advise you to research, research, research and when you think you've got the answer, RESEARCH and Corroborate your knowledge, and then use your common sense and act on your new found knowledge, whether that be Yes or No. Good Luck and thanks for watching and a great question.

My German shepherd has some type of serious skin condition and we have tried changing his diet and taking him to the vet has become to expensive, he is constantly scratching and bites himself, in the mornings his eyes are all matted, losing his hair and sores all over. Please if anyone has any suggestions would be most appreciated. Last year vet said maybe food allergies but after several visits and hundreds of dollars later it just keeps coming back.

@@12Roadangel no,we are still trying different foods and nothing seems to help him. We have gave him garlic, ivermectin ,msm ,herbs,oils and vitamins.

I am in care of a almost 8 yr old GSD adopted from shelter, I looked everywhere for the "best" dry dog food, most contains "meal" which is all wasted animals including euthanasia and days old carcasses. There is no standard for pet food so everything goes then all get sterilized by high heat and synthetic vitamins added to the insult. Best of packaged food is raw freeze dried (expensive). I'd advice research to educate if you want your animals to live longer, raw food was my option and I don't advice bones but you can grind them, I do give him chicken neck with some hesitation. Good Luck, GSD are too special to not have the best of everything, BTW our GSD is like a puppy with a perfect blood work given recently, he'll no longer have any drugs for worms or any vaccines, besides one time any vaccine is good for the life of your dog (yep another fiasco!)

Also I researched on dewormers and the reason why "they" say garlic is bad (fiasco!), every year the $ billions are doubled on dewormers awhile animals get sick with seizures and some time death or side effects for life

Splash ACV in his water bowl, also try Colloidal Silver. Put a bowl next to his drinking water and see if he goes for it.

Cheaper. A tube of ivermectin is now over $10.

I gave all 3 my dog's tiny dose ivermectin for worms & my little dog temporarily, overnight was blinded, her eye's were white & hazy....The following day she was fine.... I'm thinking even though it was just a tiny bit, that it detoxed her toxins too fast & maybe i should have given some activated charcoal to help with elimination.
