@laurapalmerTDGE
@laurapalmerTDGE Жыл бұрын
@@realsamhyde - Baking steak with olive oil is not necessarily a bad idea, but it may not be the most optimal method for cooking steak. Here are a few reasons why baking steak with olive oil may not be the preferred choice. Limited searing: One of the primary reasons people avoid baking steak with olive oil is that baking does not provide the intense heat required for proper searing. Searing helps to develop a flavorful crust on the steak and enhance its taste. Baking alone may not achieve the same level of browning or caramelization that you can achieve with other cooking methods like pan-searing or grilling. Texture and moisture: Baking steak with olive oil can potentially result in a steak that is drier than desired. High heat cooking methods like grilling or pan-searing allow for faster cooking, which helps to retain the moisture and juiciness of the steak. Baking takes longer, which can lead to overcooking and a less desirable texture. Uneven cooking: Baking steak can sometimes result in uneven cooking, especially if the steak is not of uniform thickness. The outside of the steak may become overcooked or dry before the inside reaches the desired level of doneness. This can be particularly problematic with thicker cuts of steak. Flavor infusion: While olive oil can add some flavor to the steak, baking may not provide enough opportunity for the flavors to penetrate the meat fully. Other cooking methods like marinating or pan-searing can offer better opportunities for flavor infusion.

Goto the Hmart .. veggie section beside the herbs and such are tubs of Garlic .. grab yah the one made in Canada that stuff is the truth . Better than chopping fresh garlic it's the reason Thai Indian Chinese and Korean food taste so good . Saves time tastes better and they have like 5 sizes I recommend the large one . For any recipe you can literally take a spoon and be done with garlic prep in a quarter of a second and it's cheaper than buying while cloves and tastes way better
