If you speak (and read I assume) English, why would you do an unboxing and setup video but choose German as the language? Please take this as an advise; whomever is watching this review in English most likely cannot read german nor will take as much advantage as you wish from your video.

I chose German since that is the language I’ll be using the device in myself. But thank you for the advice, I didn’t think it would be that important. I’ll keep your advice in mind for future videos 👍

@@kian_zandi I found this helpful, even though I don't know German. Good to see in (mostly) real time what to expect. I do get confused when to use the Express app and when to use Connect. They might want to merge the two someday. Thanks :)

Stopped watching when it went German also. No real idea what the text was saying so the rest of the video had zero value… I think you could probably have changed it to German after! Would have loved to see how it looked mounted. Cheers thanks for the first part at least

Like some, I watched the video hoping that I could follow the installation process for my Edge 530 due to the English title and speaker. The German setup understandably wiped out that hope. Anyway, its a agreat and helpful video for the English speaking residents of Germany. On with my search then.

Anyone watching should know that he uses the German option on the device, so it may hinder your ability to follow the video completely. You won't see this happen till a few minutes in, so if that is an issue just wanted to share so it may save you time. Otherwise, as I far as I watched (up till the German language selection) this is a thorough video.

Thanks for helpful info! Do you have any insight on how to load European maps (maybe specific country)? I bought my Garmin in US and it has US maps, I plan to cycle in Netherlands, France, UK and would love to use my Edge 830. Thanks

I think you should be able to download them from the Garmin website.

Yes I set that up but haven’t tested it out yet. I think it could be useful since it also sends your location

Does it pick up data from an Apple Watch via iPhone?

No it doesn’t receive data from an Apple Watch but it connects to your iPhone via Bluetooth so that you can look at all your rides on your phone with all the info about them
