Thanks for the review. I currently have the Fenix 5X. But, am always looking to see what the newer models have to offer. Garmin is moving in the right direction! I also saw your Bk half video a few weeks ago, lol I will take your advice this time. I should have taken your advice for NYC Marathon last year, I didnt and I paid the price, BIG time! I mentioned this to you one day that I bumped into you in Central Park North several months ago while I was running with my buddies. Great work! Keep it up!!!

Finally, Garmin closing the loop. Out for your run, listening to your favourite music, both ears blocked with bluetooth headphones. Have your loved one instantly notified when you are run over whilst you are totally unaware of your surroundings and pay for the hospital invoice right from your brand new watch. Also no need for the paramedics to hook you up to their ambulance systems. Just hand them your phone or tablet (whichever you have carried during your run) and they can monitor blood oxygenation, pulse and respiration rate straight from your own device combo. You might even get a discount on your transport invoice. All good, Garmin. Keep heading in this weird and wonderful direction. Wonder what will be next? I am waiting for pubic hair curvature measurement and early abdominal gas pressure warnings.

Hi have anyone use the yoga activity ? If so, will you be able to see the stress data field in the Garmin connect for the yoga activity? My 245 can’t show the stress data field properly. I was wonder if 945 can show it so I can buy one while on sale .

Would you recommend this watch to a runner doing high mileage (100mi/wk) and also going to start doing cross training like swimming? It would mainly be used for running by an intermediate/advanced runner

Too focused on triathlons, for a pure runner I'd go with the Garmin 645. A lot cheaper, and all the running metrics are (near) the same, or even the 245 (if you are alright without a barometer).

I have a chance to buy fenix 5x new for 350 but thinking about 945 for the music part and maps. Fenix 5x screen looks really small. Which would you get?

Between the 2, the 945 has more bells and whistles, but the Fenix will have better battery if you're an Ultra runner.

vaux_man vv just bough fenix 6 yesterday mostly because of build quality and screen. Very nice watch. Well see if I can deal without onboard music. Thx

What a joke...it's the same watch...100% of usable features are identical. Body Battery - STUPID USELESS METRIC. Heat and Altitude - MEANINGLESS. SAFETY (need phone so why not use the phone) - HAHAHAHA. Garmin Pay - JOKE and USABLE virtually nowhere. $599 - Throw your money down the toilet and make a wish...you'll get more out of it.
