Hello Everyone, today's video is going to be a little different, it's not so much about fishing but more on some of the gear I use. I realize everybody is not a total fishing geek like myself when it comes to fishing gear or tech. Here's an introduction of Livescope and an overview of how I have mine set up for the ice. The tech is relatively new and there's so many questions that people have about Livescope so I try my best to answer a few of those. My goal is to get my 3 young boys out to Sturgeon Bay to target whitefish. They have never done it, but I have so I hope to help them catch their first whitefish through the ice. Keep up the good work!

I got a little excited when you mentioned using this on your yak. Was a little disappointed to see you didn't figure out a way to incorporate the shuttle on your yak. Summit does not give any dimensions for the shuttle on their site. Could you tell me the bottom plate dimensions on yours? Great vid!

The shuttle would take up too much space in the kayak, boat on the other hand would be easy. I did get it all mounted on the kayak though just without the shuttle. I'll have to take a peak at it tonight to get the dimensions. Thanks for watching!

Great job man! Quite the accomplishment and very well deserved! LS set up looks slick, I like how you pieced it together with a lot of different parts to make it your own. The 73 is plenty big for ice use!

I think the summit shuttle/bag/pole is a lot better than the Garmin setup, you won't be disappointed when you get it!

Damn! You win the lottery? Nice setup. I thought the livescope was best for icefishing. So you can drill a hole and put it down then figure out where the fish are and drill another closer to the fish. Sounded like a pain setting it up though. Congrats on getting past 1k. Good stuff on the video. The LS brain will automatically select which view you will see depending on the angle of the sonar. I notice when it’s parallel that the unit tells me it’s switching to the prospective view. When the unit is angled down it displays the downview. You are right that it’s not a plug and fish unit because it can do so much more. I’m hoping the unit will increase my catch both on and off the ice. Keep the videos coming

Mr Yang! There's a learning curve for sure but once you have it figured out, it's rewarding to start catching fish on it. I'll keep grinding and hopefully be at 2k before I know it!

Great video! I think it’ll take off some more this ice season as more people get into LS. A thing I noticed was your wire nuts for your connections, might be better to do soldered or heat shrink butt connectors for reliability. Wire nuts remind me of stationary house wiring, might get sketchy with all the moving around! Can’t wait for ice to come! Tight lines man!

Jumped on the livescope train eh?? I got the large bag and the regular shuttle. Don't think there's a bigger shuttle. Large bag should fit your 9inch

And do you recommend getting that harness you talked about? Looking at it with the extra 2 plug in accessories, does it just plug into the summit on/off switch? And thanks for helping me on this man!

I would get the harness, it puts all the connections into one
