Man i watched Tron Legacy everyday when it first came out on Blu ray. Really resonated with the movie.

I knew a third Tron film was in the works, knew that when the new Tron roller coaster at Magic Kingdom debuted.

One of the biggest issues I had with Tron Legacy was that Sam Flynn had so little to do, that his character brought nothing to the table. He was basically the film's damsel in distress, constantly being rescued by his father and by Quorra.

Disney will F this up just like Star Wars, Pixar, and all the rest of their franchises....

We need a continued story saga of Sam Flynn. I’m looking forward to Tron: Ares but I don’t think it’s connected to the Sam Flynn story (not entirely sure) but id like to see the continued story where Tron: Legacy ended

Would love to see the entire panel from the show. I had bought tickets for Friday and Saturday since the panel was originally on Friday. I missed it because it got moved to Sunday and felt like I missed out on a great experience.

I love how Garett still remembers some key features, and names the Grid like its a place he fondly likes to visit. He is clearly ready to hop right back into his role as Sam. While Marvel did work out for Disney in the long run and Star Wars as well; it seems they took the bigger names for granted after Endgame. The good new is that a third installment is coming, but unfortunately, Daft Punk likely won't return to score the film because they departed from each other. As much as I do love Legacy, there are some tings in it that get a bit grading; the constant "staying behind so that the others may escape" trope should have only been for the end for Kevin Flynn to do, because it was like the third or forth time by the time he did it. Though all the actors did great, the script did not leave much room for them to build much on their personality. Even after two films, I do still have more questions about the grid. Do they have animals? Do they eat? Does day and night mean anything to them?" Tron himself barely has much of a foot print in the franchise. The only time he has the true spotlight was in the Uprising show. (which is fantastic and gives more life then the previous movies ever did) Despite all these nitpicks, Tron deserves the spot light for pushing visual technology for films in the future (now), and wowed us with the 2010 visuals and its score.

Just got word that Jeff Bridges will be returning in TRON: Ares as Kevin Flynn. How will this be done? A flashback or is Kevin’s essence still in his Grid and is a ghost?

Yeah not much he can say there. Tricky question. He knows what the story would have been, but is it still on the tables? Probably not. He was saying a little bit more about what it would be about, when they were still looking like it might be greenlit, but then it never was because Disney acquired Marvel, and then basically put the rest of it on Star Wars right after that and that put Tron on the lower end of the totem pole. Ridiculous, but I guess Tron was always a cult thing. I mean, at this point it's fair to say Sam is going to be minding after the company more and will, at most, probably have an avatar of himself fighting to defend the grid. Originally, Edward Dillinger Jr. (Cillian Murphy) was going to be that new nemesis. Now I think they will go another route, now that Cillian is huge and probably wont be available and the people writing it will likely be an entirely different team.

I wanted a sequel to Tron Legacy for years. Now that it’s been made I find myself hoping it wasn’t happening. Disney now is not the same company. Everything they touch now becomes pure garbage full of propaganda and politics. Of course they are doing a movie now. After butchering Marvel, Star Wars and all their old classics they didn’t have anything else.

If another Tron movie is happening, then keep Olivia Wilde out. She turned into the worst person nobody ever saw coming. I however have no problems with Garrett Hedlund, if he returns then that´s fine to me.
