my Filipina is in manga near tagbilaran city. They survived much better than any other areas of Bohol but of course they also have no power or Internet and are having food and water shortages as well as everyone else and of course fuel shortage. There was some minor damage with people in manga losing their roofs but it obviously could have been much worse. So the province capital is doing well. They won't do much better if or when Bohol right gives the power restored. I am hoping that they give some priority to the capital and surrounding areas for her sake but we will see

The damage is more than I first thought. Also on Cebu. Many no longer own a house. I am really shocked! Lots of dead and missing, terrible to see it! Hope there is enough water and food on site. I'm so sorry for what happened to you ♥ ️🙏

For us it was a no-brainer. Few hours after the typhoon, we were already in the airport to get the 1st ticket to manila. We both work online and I cannot afford losing my job right now with the house construction.
