It’s devastating to walk around Loboc. A place I call my second home here in Bohol.
While getting battered by Typhoon Odette, they had a flood. The highest flood on record.
This video is from Day 3 after Supertyphoon Odette hit our province.

When Keiran and I watched this he really appreciated the comment about “1small thing, the next small thing then you have done a big thing.” It’s really nice to be able to show him that even during a devastation like the Philippines experienced, that with lots of helping hands things can get better and it also makes the ones who help feel good because they are giving of themselves to help others. I am Jowe. I am married to Filipino woman. I lived in America but I am from Africa. I saw what happened to the Philippines and it saddened my heart. My wife just got through building a house for us in Pangloa, Bohol and our house survived the storm. I think Pangloa was blessed.

Thanks 🙏 sorry to hear. I have some friends in the mountain areas of Loboc and they seem to be ok. Not sure your area. Water is hard to get but if they have a deep well near them they should be ok for water. Many people helping each other.
