Do not swap the burners unless you know the orifice is the same size. Most ranges have 2 or 3 different size orifices/burners. Putting the wrong size burner/orifice combo together can result in burn injuries or failure to ignite/misdiagnosis.

Alot of times if its not right for the spot it wont fit anyway and thats assuming you can even move these without taking bolts out. What you really need to be careful of is making sure you have the right jets for the right fuel when you get the machine haha. I've seen people hook up a range to propane with the wrong jets and its like a damn camp fire haha. I've had to do this repair 100s of times and I like this model because its very easy to fix this issue when it happens.

Our distributors do not come off. This worked though. On a side note I think google is spying on our conversations in our home because I never looked this up and this came up in our feed right as we had this issue.

It us spying.....if you are connected to the internet and anything in the house has Google they are spying 100%...even with your phones they do listen even when you aren't using them...and use that info and sells it

You know... here's a surprise... stoves can be disassembled for cleaning. Yes, gas stoves too. Hot, soapy water does wonders against grease. Likely that's what's blocking it The pin, paperclip, pipecleaner, etc. can clear the hole, but won't clean it.

Good to know. I usually just use a skewer, light it on a working burner, and then use that flame to light the clicking burner.

A little scary. I have this issue with my gas stove. I've never done any research to find out why or a solution. I don't have an echo or an alexa, and siri and cortona are supposed to be disabled on my phone and computer. However after having a bit of a yelling fit last night trying to cook; today this video shows up in my feed.

😮😮❤😮😮 HOLY BAT SHIT ROBIN!! I have had this exact issue with my cook stove for over a year! But, I had NO clue what was wrong... Therefore, i would just the knob to where it clicks, then light it with my "Aim n Flame" lighter! Well... Now i know what to do to fix it.. so guess what I'm doing tomorrow?? Soak the top pieces in oven cleaner for a few days, scrubbing each day. Same with your oven, cleans all the back stuff that seems impossible to get iff.

I find that my hole can be clean but it still won't light. Usually, I just have to bump the cap and it works. It seems that if the cap is slightly off-center, it doesn't like to light.

Nope. If you watch closely when he lights the left front burner the first two times (when it didn’t work) he uses the far left dial, when he lights the same burner at the end he uses the dial to the right (the correct one) and it lights just fine. Whats up with that?

I believe I have a Kenmore and mine does all the starters every time. I was trying to troubleshoot a similar problem to this and it turned out to be something gotten into the spark. Where they all make noises I thought the burner was sparking correctly

my gas stove would spark, but never light, turned out the cat had got behind it and was nibbling on some of the control wires. just stripped the wires and wire nutted them back together. damn cat also chewed the water hose going to the fridge too.
