あぁ、500現代兵士vs50000ゾンビとかの動画を観て感じてた既視感はこれか。波の様に迫り来る敵を鍔迫り合いで防御する感じ。すっかり忘れてた。そうかぁ、これでスッキリした。

I have this game on all my home consoles. Sega Genesis, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PSP, NES, Sega Dreamcast too. I love playing this game. I can play this game for hours. My favorite characters on this game is the Wizard, powerful magic, Valkyrie, strong Armor, Elf, with his fast Speed, and last is the Warrior, with Excellent Hand to hand Combat.

@@gokuraku-oshogamevideos9250 I enjoy you playing this old school classic game back in my childhood days. My friends and I use to play this at the arcades, when we just didn't have anything to do, from keeping getting bored. Still play this game all the times. Excellent classic game this is.

I used to convince myself that if I had a foursome and 20 bucks in quarters that we could finish this. Three things made that impossible: 1) The health runs down without taking damage, thus necessitating far more coins than I calculated 2) the game doesn’t have an ending 3) I didn’t know anybody else that was into Gauntlet that much at the time.

4) The food diminishes to almost nothing after 150 levels. In 1988 I used to spend 8 hours from one credit (10p) when I should have been at school. Gauntlet university was far more interesting!

How the food acts in the game is a VARIABLE that can be set by the arcade owner. And Kmully's "4" statement is therefore wrong. I, too, had a Gauntlet machine at my college and could literally play it endlessly. To prove that point, I once played from the moment our student center opened to the moment it closed ... and when I came back in the morning the thief had stolen all my items, but I was still alive! I played long enough to build back enough health that I could do that again... proving I could play forever. It all depends on what the owner has put that variable at. :)

Her attack sound is the same as picking up treasure and potions, imagine if when the warrior attacks it made the same sound as eating. LOL

She's a tank. Highest defense, decent magic, good melee damage, one of only two characters that can melee generators. I see a lot of folks pushing Elf as the "best character", but he's actually pretty weak aside from his magic power and speed.

@@MageQuentin There's a Midway Arcade Origins collection for Xbox (360, One and Series X) and PS3 that has both Gauntlet and Gauntlet II. It's also on the Midway Legacy cabinet (both the Mortal Kombat and Defender variants) from Arcade1up if you have some extra money to blow and some room in your house. Unfortunately it only has the two player version and it doesn't have Gauntlet II.

It doesn't have an ending. You just keep killing creeps until you die, in game or in real life. The score just rolls over indefinitely.

これって難易度一番イージーにしてるのかな。ゲーセンと敵の量もフードドリンクの量も段違いだから当時終日プレイやってた連中ならぬるすぎですね。自分はサクサクと面を進めるエルフ使ってました。

ご指摘の通りで、最初期バージョンの基板のイージーランクでプレイしてます。これだとレベル30くらいまでヘルスを温存できればあとはひたすら惰性で永久プレイできました。当時の神プレイヤーには遠く及ばないのは承知の上で、「レベル1000を見てみたい」という目的でこの動画を作製したので、道中で特に目を見張るような場面がないのはご了承くださいませ。
