The bigwigs of the industry would never put out an arcade game like this today. Indie studios wouldn't have the budget or manpower for it. It's why mid-sized studios like Midway were so important back then. It's a shame almost all of them died out or were bought up by larger companies.

@@leandrarenteria8654 That's because, we no longer ask for games that possess a sense of humor, or even a sense of playfulness. Although, I'm not certain what brought about the creative spark for both Legends and Dark Legacy (which, is basically Legends 3.0 LOL!), I'm certain that the people that made the games and additional stuff, did it for fun and that they enjoyed what they created.

This is gonna sound super weird, but Dark Souls 2 sometimes felt like this game without an overhead view. Specifically the Harvest Valley and the Huntsman's Copse. Maybe it was the enemy design...

Don't even get me started on blight town... That place can burn in hell, I know thats not on dark souls 2 but I couldn't help but bring it up considering the premise behind the towns destruction in Dark Legacy.

I wonder what the Realms looked like before Garm screwed everything up. It'd be cool if there was a mod that shows that after you defeat Skorne and Garm and you get to explore the levels all civilized and back to normal. :p

I came back to this as an adult a few years ago, when I used to play with my uncle when I was a wee lad. I remember feeling unsure a lot of the time whn I came back to it, even when I slew every enemy, got all the rune stones, and found all the secrets.

If they were to remake the game, I'd hope they make it so that you can choose which realm you'd want to start with first. I always thought this realm was done unjustly with how unchallenging it was, because it was the tutorial realm.

I noticed on the ps2 version when you pick up a special item it's used automatically but on the Gamecube you can save the items and scroll through then activate them.
