I’m ready for Christmas Journals again😍

I tried your page method for altered books awhile ago after watching one of your other videos and the method worked really well for me. The book I chose was fun because it was four books in one and I decided to theme different sections of the book off the book in that section. So one book was placed at the beach so that section of the altered book is beach themed. Its something I work on just for a fun relaxing time and am really enjoying it.

Nice video… I’m new to altered books, so this really helped and gave me a ton of good ideas to try!

As a book lover, I had to look up this one. It's a Young Adult book about a kid who "fixes" things for other students (need a note from your parent? Some bully stealing your lunch money?). His "office" is the 4th stall in the boy's bathroom. Believe it or not, this book has great reviews! LOL

I loved the last one you did around Easter I think it was… so when you started this one today I ran and grabbed an old book, I did not know what to do with, and I started making my very first altered book right along with you. This is so fun! Thanks to who ever suggested using big binder clips to hold the pages back while you work… it worked so well. Gayle, I hope you feel better after a little rest, you could be coming down with something or it could be grief from the loss of your dear friend. So I opted not to tear out as much.....🤦‍♀️duh!!! I should of listen to you!!! I ended up with way too much pages and ended up tearing out more towards the end....ugh!!!😥 but I am having FUN creating this book

Love this, I can’t wait to do one, it’s been so long, the one I did about 10 years ago looks so primitive compared to yours. I never knew about gluing the pages together to hide where the torn pages came from, that’s the best thing ever.

I have finally figured out what I want to make for a December daily. Altering a book very similar to what you are doing. I have been stewing since July what to do about a December daily. Then I saw what you were doing and a light bulb went on. Thanks Gayle. Love watching you almost every day.

Good morning Gayle! I enjoyed watching you altering the book. I am giving you the suggestion to use big clip to hold the pages with book together to keep it open while you crafting. It will make it easier for you not holding the book down while gluing it. That book is new and it won’t stay open, so just a thought. Happy crafting!!
