Today we take on Mason, our ‘pretend scratch golfer, but now he’s no longer scratch, he’s plus one!! Can we beat him in a scratch match or will he take the victory!

How come no one is mentioning the counting of scores? 2 holes on the bounce the +1 guy played a second ball off the tee yet his next shot was his 3rd rather than his 4th? So he should have been 2 more shots worse off!

There is no way that that guy is a +1 handicap. Shooting 1 under would be playing to his handicap? Never. He said he shot 6 under at St. Annes? I hear people saying the cameras got to him but +1 is an elite players handicap and they should be able to play in front of a camera.

@@charlie9147 Wild snaphooks off the tee, 3 putts from nowhere and repeated duffing of chips. He has a very flawed swing and technique. Everyone has bad days I agree but that was truly awful golf. How he achieved a +1 handicap beggers belief.

Grass on greens isn’t dormant, yet some greens are dead, patchy at best. I have family living nearby, water turned off as often as 2 days a week. Portugal has temporarily closed some Algarve courses due lack of water. So yes climate change isn’t helping. Why did the course change the grass types? Lack of water, so climate change is relevant. But as someone else said, it is a cheap and nasty course.

My Dad has got some old school footage of him and his dad playing golf in Spain in the 70s in February and it was burnt out. Some things never change, neither will the natural warming and cooling of Earth.
