Hey Pete, My property is a hilly lot in VA with drainage issues. Last fall I slit seeded with GCI fescue and X start, after plug aeration. Even with the lousy growing conditions and the stretch of dry weather in July my lawn has never looked this good. I will repeat the process in September and maybe someday my lawn will look half as good as yours.

Pete, I had been struggling to get a thick stand of KBG surrounding my backyard putting green. I bought myself a 25lb bag of Blue Heat in early August, planted roughly 3 weeks ago, and I've had such success it's beautiful. I have irrigation that runs on my putting green and the surrounding area so watering is easy. I used a Lesco greens grade starter fertilizer, 12-24-18, and it popped quick. Come spring I'll send you a picture. You may be memorized by the 1/8" bentgrass but the KBG will be the star! Thank you so much for everything. God bless you and your family. Love the channel.

Just bought 2 bags of the COOL BLUE #50. Never tried this seed before but I am excited. I have always used Big Box brands of sees with mixed results. Lots of weeds and Bermuda grass which look patchy and out of place in Minnesota.Thanks Pete!

Love your tall fescue and can’t wait to get the cool blue and heat wave. Not much Bermuda here in Hollister Ca. We just don’t get that hot only maybe 1-2 months a year. We test a few different seeds last year, this year we are only using your fescue for our overseeding projects. Can’t wait to see all our happy clients in a few months.

I love the dark colored results you're getting Pete with the TTTF. I like the premium blend. I'm in NC and if KB loves a ton of water I may stay away from it. I'm officially a fescue now also. As always thanks for sharing your wisdom sir. Wish me luck. lol

I just graded my lawn completely tk the dirt and added a load of top soil. Just finished rough grading yesterday. Have you done any videos ground up like that? Really cool story how the Lord has bless the work of your hands! It is God that gives you the power to get wealth. I'm new to this. I got a house in south KS and the yard really isn't up to what I want so I'm studying trying to learn. I'm thinking about the TTTF grass seed but really my yard needs to taken back to just dirt but I'm to old to do that anymore plus don't have the extra money to have it done so I will make it work. I think all your videos are informative and interesting. I just retired last October 2019 and have been basically prior to this year doing upkeep and weed control on lawn. I overseeded a couple of acres in the spring with only adequate results and never tested soil. I just got a soil test kit and bought 50lbs of Lesco Seed they call Signature they had no idea what the mix is where I purchased it but I was there so I bought it anyway as I will be able to overseed on part of my lot with it anyway. I plan on testing soil, aerorating and throwing a bunch of seed down. I will apply Lime as needed before the cold Kentucky weather hits in Jan 2021. I plan on ordering a 50lb bag of your Fescue blend today after verifying if it will arrive in time. Keep up the good work. If you have any further tips on being successful with weed control specifically Crabgrass send them my way. Note: Neighbors on all sides do not care for their acreage at all.. not one bit.. only have someone cut it weekly and that is 20 acres of weeds I am surrounded by..

I purchased your tttf earlier this year, seeded and it grew in within 2 weeks. I'm in atlanta and you know the summers are blazing hot. I guess I'm not watering enough because its green on top and brown when I cut it. I may just kill the whole yard off because I still have some bermuda mixed in but overall the seed is great. Im still in the learning stages. I'll probably purchase your lawn guide soon to help.

N Minn here Pete. First frost in 5-6 weeks. I aerated tonight after a scalp job. Tomorrow night I lay down my new bag of GCI TTTF! Excited to see germination before the frost. Going to top dress problem areas with some peat. Plan on laying starter fert in a week.

I received my GCI Cool Blue last week. I planted a few test spots as soon as I received it. With soil Temps in the 80s, I had germination in just 6 days ! I planted some in small pots, which had to have higher soil Temps, and germination was just as fast ! I can't wait to reseed my yard.

I can personally attest that the TTTF and the Cool Blue are fantastic. My back is Cool Blue and front is TTTF. I will either overseed or smoke the front and do all Cool Blue because it’s awesome. Both germinate fantastically and it’s been super hot on Long Island this summer and it’s going strong, with irrigation of course. Hey Pete, you said what about watering the Blue Heat in the Carolina’s???? 😂😂 proud of this huge accomplishment Pete!!!!
