Civil or minister , you MUST service singaporean regardless of how many votes you gets, just like the town council that are run by PAP. The truth is that if the GRC opponent are not WP, only then PAP got high percentage in votes. WP did extremely well.. PAP kerna hammer hard this time,and will be more moving forward

Pap made the right choice to deploy hsk last minute to EC grc. If it was anyone else, Nicole might have won. A d*** move but politically strategic and necessary from PAP pov. Heng won by a small margin and this reflects 1. His popularity as a future pm 2. How the voting dynamics has changed as the demographics changes. In 20-30 years time or perhaps even shorter, we might see PAP losing their supermajority power. I'm sad that Nicole didn't make it into parliament, but she still has time. Congrats PAP, press on WP! East Coast residents will benefit a lot from this GE, regardless of who is elected. Pap will have to work super hard to strengthen their base for the next GE. We should see a legit east coast plan now
