The t24 I have hunted with and harvested 3 bucks the last 3 years, excellent bow, for spot and stalk and they are quiet, the B series will be even better.

I've shot other GEARHEAD bows and was very satisfied, the dual riser design increases stability, due to less flex/twist in the riser. All these bows are quiet, smooth and solid shooters. Their earlier model bows were designed to be shorter/more compact for mission specific hunts, such as backcountry ultralight hunts. Eventually they realized the short ATA had other great applications such as ground blind hunts, and steep angles often encountered in treestand hunts. These bows have been used around the world for hunting game of all kinds such as moose in Alaska, African game, whitetails, elk, turkey, sheep. Pigs. The list goes on and on....go shoot one and feel the difference.

Love it, funny how things that are a bit different rub some raw,, I find the portability options of the smaller ATA bows very interesting, and while I do shoot out to 100+ if my groups were not great but I could still group em nice out to 35 the portability outweighs ego shooting for distance when freezer filling-same with the the look, if I could kill a deer out to 35yds with it I think it looks fine-prices sound a bit high though

Nowhere on youtube is there a bow build for one of these? can we see the process of setting up the peep tuning the rest and sight for one of these gearhead bows as they are a little bit quirky. THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME!!
@williamannable43454 жыл бұрын
To me these Bows look wonderful. In past years Bows were wooden made by highly skilled by Craftsmen, now Bows such as the Gearhead are made and designed by Engineers. The Bow could do with a good splash of colour= camouflage for Hunters, Colours for the Ladies, personal colours for the choosing individual. Good luck to gearhead and all who shoot with them.

Hmmm, these are curious. I could see how the symmetry of the frame would lend to easier and more consistent tuning. They look goofy, but I'd give them a try regardless.

Just judging on aesthetics; the shorter bow simply looks ugly. It almost looks like an oversized slingshot. Other than that, the longer version(s) of these bows look awesome.

Ok so I noticed a few issues with the systems. 1. you can't set it below 40 lbs. 2. the grip is straight and you still grip it like a normal bow so this looks awkward to me. 3. I have never seen this system on the competition circuit, never seen it in Vegas or the world's 4. The price point is like Hoyt but it doubt it has the quality of a Hoyt 5. The short system (B20) seems to have issues with a peep sight placement 6. Where does the side quiver attach? 7. where do the lower stabilizer(s) go? 8. I see getting a custom string from ABB a difficulty. 9. Getting hard case is a no go 10. Why use 1911 pistol grips? Archers really don't care about gun grips and putting a gun grip on a bow is ridiculous. this is like when people put sights on longbows. 11. the grip system needs work. The designers have not really thought this grip idea through and are missing a hell of alot of issues here. 12. These systems are generally viewed as "gimmicks". by archers that have years of experience 13. You can only adjust the systems by 10# so this a huge limiting factor. Other systems allow for 20# of adjustment to the draw weight. These are just my observations from the videos that I have watched about Gearhead systems. Really no one has taken this system apart and been brutally honest online about the bad points with the systems. I find that all the videos I watched were from low level influencers that got a free bow from gearhead. Really sad guys. How much did that cost you? So what you have here is a company that is making a high priced "shoot-through-the-riser" bow systems. Hoyt, BEAR, Darton, Merlin, etc. are long established companies that have already done this and there are a vast number of models out on the market that are cheaper and just as good, if not better, than Gearhead. So why would someone want to spend over $1000.00 USD for a system from a company that has no reputation in the market? Gearhead has no sponsorship of a World Archery athlete, no sponsorship of a USA team member, no sponsorship of any other country archery athlete, no reputation at any national archery event. All this system has is a bunch of mediocre KZfaq videos. So if the 2019 Hoyt Pro Force is selling at $1,799 and the 2019 Gearhead B36 is selling at $1,999.00 why would I spend $200 more for a "shoot-through-the-riser" bow from a company that doesn't have the reputation of Hoyt? Hoyt has sponsorship of USA team athletes, just look on KZfaq and you'll see. Hoyt has recurve systems being used by Olympic archers. Hoyt has massive sponsorship of the industry. BEAR makes excellent hunting bows and has dominated the bow hunting industry for decades. And these Gearhead guys think they are just going to walk in a take a piece of the market? I am a Canadian certified archery coach and I have been an archer for over 25 years. I have been to tournaments in Canada and have spoken to Canadian archery athletes from national competitors to Olympic competitors. So before you haters and trolls start in just remember one thing - I don't care what you say. Good luck and if you want me to change my mind how about sending me a free bow, I assure you I'll take it apart and write about all the flaws and bad issues that arise from it and I will have a lot of experienced people shoot the hell out of it.

Sorry you missed the Gearhead bows at Vegas this year! Aaron Tedford was shooting one in the Open division when he shot his 300 the first day. A couple other archers shot them in Vegas as well this year...And John Wheeler was shooting a Gearhead when he won NFAA Indoor Nationals in Cincinnati a month after Vegas. There is a bushing for a lower stabilizer.....2 actually.

I'm sorry, but these bows are completely insane. I bet groups with that 20 in ATA are completely pitiful.
@bradyanderson3175 жыл бұрын
And they are charging $2,000 for that 40 inch ATA and $1,300 for the 20 in. ATA... Ridiculous

I shoot a liberty 1 and at 25 yards a five shot group is as good as my bowtech. I am going to order a B24 in 70 lb draw. My Liberty is at 82 lbs. Good for Elk but a little tough after sitting in a cold tree stand. These little bows will shock you.
