I like how basic yet functional the Comfort variant is. It has everything I need since I am not a techie person. That it is below 900K after discounts is a big plus. However, I believe the missus has a different opinion on which variant to get. 😅

Same here! I like the fact that Geely made those tech innovative features in the Coolray Sport but I am not looking for tons of fancy stuff. I can drive anyway. And this Blue variant of the Coolray Comfort is very good looking!

This is my dream car for myself. Got my family an Xpander but after my obligation for its monthly amortization for the next 3 remaining years, I might get myself this Coolray Comfort, or the next gen. I like the Comfort more than than Sport since the latter is too high tech which I may not be able to maximize its full potential as an advanced car. And besides, I still like to practice my skills as a driver and I don't like to depend too much on technology plus the more tech stuff there is inside, the higher the risk of having problems in the future. 😉

Actually kahit yung pinaka Top Of The Line Variant na MG ZS Alpha P998,888 vs Base Model na Geely Coolray Comfort P978K, lamang parin performance ni Geely e hehe. Wala lang sunroof at Leather seats

I would like to get the base variant of Coolray. Sya yung dream car ko. Not too techy since those tech features can get busted as time goes by. At least dito sa Comfort, walang masyadong masisirang parts kasi mas basic sya. And kasing angas din naman ng itsura ng top of the line except for the spoilers and the two tone colors of the latter. Pero kung ako lang din naman, ipapa vinyl car wrap ko naman yan, so walang kaso sa color schemes ng kotse. 💕

I'm used to purchasing and driving/riding Japanese and European cars, but had a good feeling about this Chinese car. Pulled the trigger without test-driving and made a reservation a few weeks after seeing it up-close at a mall display early this year. It was a risk, but I'm glad I took a chance on the Coolray instead of more well-known makes and models. I opted for the comfort variant due to personal preference (didn't want a sunroof and I'm more of an old-school driver who can do away with extra tech). The Coolray is a VERY good car. For potential buyers out there - don't mind the naysayers. This car (even at its most basic variant) is very much worth the risk and your money. How ironic that this "China" car doesn't even feel like one, unlike other brands being sold here that would make you question if it was pulled from a sh*tty replica factory in China.

Same here! I already had a reservation for MG ZS and it was ready for release however, stumbled upon Geely Coolray and it totally changed my mind. Very timely yet the best decision I made. The built of the car proves how chinese brands are starting to create quality and functional cars and not playing safe with the typical/boring features. This is definitely the brand to watch out for. Thank you! :)

Haha natawa ako dun sa last line.. oo nga panget ng ibang sasakyan ngayon. But this car is really elegant. Leather seats ba ang COMFORT?

@@marvictoriousroxas3275 still awesome. Ride quality is fantastic. Just mind the fuel consumption, but if you have a fun car to drive does that even matter? It isn’t that much of a gas hog though. Almost a year with me, it still puts a smile on my face. No exaggeration. Service of Geely North Edsa so far has been great. Time will tell about its durability (looking at you hardcore Toyota and Honda fan boys and girls), but it is definitely promising. Still no regrets.

@@teejaysalgado9819 😂. Sporty black fabric. Have to be careful with alcohol-based solutions as it makes the fabric a bit white if you don’t wipe it well. Still comfy and easy to clean. 👍🏻
