ON SEPT. 30TH ,2022 TRAVIS AND I MEET UP FOR THE LAST TIME FOR THE YEAR. THE HIKING YEAR FOR ME WAS SPOTTY AT BEST. SO, I WANTED TO MAKE SURE WE WERE GOING TO HAVE A FUN TIME....SO EXTRA WHISKY MAY HAVE BEEN INVOLVED. OVER THE PASS WE MEET UP WITH OUR GOOD FRIEND SARA AND HAVE MANY LAUGHS AROUND THE FIRE.

Nice one, Jess.....I'm stuck inside this morning, freezing rain (ugh....nothing worse). Lost track how many cups of coffee I've had, just tossing log after log in the wood stove, and much to my happy surprise, you and Travis both posted! Awesome! Thanks for taking us along. Love it! Scenic and entertaining. Only been up Swamp Creek and that a little shy of the creek crossing before the lake. Gotta hit Geiger and Lost Buck this summer. Still have to do Wanless as well. So many places and so little time.

I had a few shots at the Top of pass to see if that would calm my nerves but that didn't help. I have been walking Blitz over a bridge that crosses the Kootenai to emerse myself into being ok with heights. It's a horrible phobia and don't wish it on anyone. Pretty sure Montana used to be middle earth. lol

I hiked there many times as a kid and I was always the one that was ahead of everyone else and got to fishing and say a bull moose. I will always love the beauty of the mountain lakes in the area.

Yeah unfortunately i never took advantage of the mountains as a kid...now I'm trying to make up for lost time. Thanks so much for watching. I truly appreciate that even 1 person watches my crap. lol

Great footage! You're editing is always fun. Who was seductively petting the tree early on in the video? Haha When you were coming down that chute, all I could think was "who's the goofball coming straight down the mountain!?".

BTW, watching reruns of your (and Travis’s) videos never gets old. Looks like you got a new pack. Just curious which one. You guys have reminded me how fun it is to make trip report videos. Headed up the North Fork of the Skokomish to Spike Camp this morning. Going to be great to get sleep out in the mountains again!

I generally use 1 of 2 packs....my go to is the my OUTDOOR VITAL shadow light and my KELTY . My Kelty used to be my go to ....now I just use it for winter...so in this video I was just doing a test run to look for problems. Yeah I usually do a year in review and grab some whisky and watch all the videos of the year. Generally I find myself in a ball on the ground crying afterwards....knowing I'm another year older and not one penny richer.

@@Olympic_TryAthlete Actually having a big announcement coming.....I will be leaving Libby...Moving to Kuna Idaho. Will be neighbors with Kenny the Idahonian. Long story....long story....I will be back.....video coming soon. Trust me it breaks my heart to leave the Cabinets.
