What was the point of doing a comparison, if it's in a small room inside a building, only able to see a few feet away? Nobody needs night vision, to look at a cabinet 4 ft away. Lol. Make a real comparison, open the door and do it outside, so we can actually see the difference. I have gen 1, 2 and 3 . And they all look the same indoors, scanning only a few feet away. But soon as u do the real test outside and at longer distances. That's when the comparison is worth doing. That video, could mislead someone, to beleive gen 1 is worth buying. I've had several, gen 1, their all worthless, compared to real night vision, like at the least, a gen 2+ and up. Gen 1 is so bad it's almost unusable in the fields at night, without a very powerful and bright ir light, (which totally gives away ur location) And even then it can barely function, to the point of being worth having it at all. Gen 2+ minimum and up yes. Gen 1, might as well be called fake night vision. Stay away from anything gen1
