im so glad someone other than me likes Take A Look In The Mirror because it does get the ms=ost shit but its my personal favorite. that album got me through some rough times and its absolutely heavy as shit. It's the darkest, most emotional, most angry, heaviest Korn album in their entire discog.

26 year old here! While yes, Nu Metal was becoming dated by the time I was listening to music on the daily, I feel like it wasn't fully out of style just yet. While probably part of Gen Z, I can never find a concrete timeline for my generation because the years my grade was born (97'-98') are like this strange in-between where we don't fully relate to Millenials or Zoomers. I only had to use Zoom the last semester of my Senior year in college. Also only had dialup until I was like 12? Thoughts?

The problem with Gen xers, when it came to metal, was that once death metal came out, they tended to not want to backtrack and get into some great classic metal bands that they may have liked. This happened to me and it wasn't until I got to college, where I began getting into older metal bands. Extreme music had a tendancy to make people not want to check out some great music that came before it.

I was really confused about this REACT video. Putting RATM as nu metal ? Nu metal inspiration for sure but they are rap rock funk punk with riffs of metal. And no Slipknot or Deftones ? Are you kidding me. I know they already reacted to Slipknot alone but so did they about Limp Bizkit. And I was so happy to see the girl Angel again and tripping over Fred Durst ? Truly a gem. For my part, LP also introduced me to nu metal because they were so accessible and mainstream. And thanks to that, now I discovered so many other nu metal bands and I'm fully invested and going to Sick New World !!! All started in 2006 with LP :)

The sad thing is if gen z isn’t listening to metal what kind of crap are they listening to ? Just tell me it’s not pop, hip hop or some other kind of mainstream garbage.
