bruh- for everyone saying that this makes no sense, it's common knowledge that women only carry xx chromosomes and men carry xy, so the gender really is up to the man

Olivia the Aussie So basically a woman always carries 1 “X” chromosome in her egg, and a man’s sperm has either 1 “X” or 1 “Y” chromosome and when it gets fertilized it either becomes XX (Female) or XY (Male). So yes the male does decide the gender.

My mom waited to tell me and my sister the gender till the baby was born. She showed us the baby and I yelled is it a girl!!! She goes you have a little brother... You could see all my excitement go away. I feel bad for that reaction to this day but he is the best lol...
