Your videos contain a lot of great information, however I have a very hard time hearing and understanding what you are saying as the audio seems to be very fuzzy. The KZfaq CC is very inaccurate, is there a transcript of some sort for this video?

That's not the issue, I'm using high-quality headphones but there is a fuzziness aspect to it. It's just the quality of the mic he used to have.

As a component of the 30S small subunit of prokaryotic ribosomes, the highly conserved 16S ribosomal RNA (or 16S rRNA) between different species of bacteria and archaea, is frequently used for phylogenetic studies since it’s easy to extract, copy and sequence this gene.
