This is a re-upload, the previous version from yesterday had a map which I didn't accurately describe. So I decided to remove it and upload a revised version without that map. Sorry for the mistake! I should have double checked the information from the source, but thank you for letting me know, you guys make the channel better and help out the viewers in getting accurate information!

@@pranavkondapalli9306 Greenland is like Australia or Canada: it's an independent country (from 1979) that recognizes the leader of another country as its own, it's basically the same situation of the Fær Øer. They're indipendent nations, but due to their particular situation (namely the very low population), they depend on other nations for some parts of their governing power... take Nauru for example: it's an independent nation, but it's completely dependent on Australia for basically everything. Greenland is part of the Kingdom of Denmark just like Australia is a part of the Commonwealth. Would you say Australia is an autonomous region of the UK?

I have already seen most of the maps you've shown in this series, but they're still very interesting, and I still like to see your observations on them. And of course there are some I first saw here, like the food/income map, which I thought the same thing when analysing the map; the relevance of local income relative to the rest of the world, and the access to food, both related to the country's agricultural output and industrialization level. I like to watch your takes on these. Abraços, da costa desproporcionalmente povoada do Brasil

An interesting thing about maps of world dimensions is that there is always a distortion in the size of land masses. An example of this is the comparison between Brazil and Greenland, which appear to be almost the same size on the map, but in reality, Greenland has 2,166 million km², while Brazil has 8,516 million km².

There is almost no streetview in Germany because too much people intervened. Some of the "arguments": "I don't want burglars to see when I'm not home" "No one should see me lying naked in my backyard" [sic!] "My housefront is my property so you are not allowed to make photos of it" And no: I'm not joking! Google had to blur so much buildings and signs that they just gave up. Or to say it with Chancellorette Merkel: "The Internet is 'Neuland' for all of us" (2013!!)

@@karlranseyer5251 so the Dsgvo and § 28 Abs. 1 Satz 1 Nr. 3 BDSG are Myths? Also you, like many others, missunderstood the quote of Angela Merkel. She wanted to ilustrate the uneasy relationship of freedom and security in the Internet, because at that time, like many other countrys, Germanys laws werent realy ready for the digitalisation.

2:47 I don't believe that map at all. I think it's the opposite as countries like Italy or Spain have really close relationships as well as for France and anyway where do they even get that info.

"Ireland is equivalent to the up most parts of Canada". Really? Canada stretches to the Arctic Circle and the last time I checked Ireland wasn't that cold. I think you mean the up most part of Newfoundland. Very interesting maps especially that sheep one.

2.31 well the map is Europe, but it`s clearly a research done by the European Union, since the countries not in the Union is kept grey. Not so important, but would be a normal to mention that this isn`t a representation of Europe, but rather the European Union.
