Company can provide a basic AI with capability to learn from 'Master'...and then user can train through add on 'data sets' and personal interaction. You need your own generative ai because you wanna be unique and close source to beat the market. Imagine all the businesses using the same LLM even though they will differ in some areas but mostly they have the same source, there is a risk of replicas. Basically what IBM wants is to allow us as individuals and businesses to add value in the ai and customize LLM to best answers our specific needs. We don't only have the consumers.
