Might want to take the generator out of Eco mode in the winter.

What would be the point of that all it does is runs a lower rpm when the load is small

Also judging by the spade shaped tail I can confirm that the bird you saw is a common raven not a bald eagle but very similar wingspan. They do seem to like that forest nearby.

Since there’s a bathroom and water in the garage I assume the heaters are on at least a little through the winter?

I went over to my junior high school the other day like I usually do every Monday and I saw they installed new emergency lighting in the front of the school, they are Lithonia Lighting ELM2Ls. I’m starting to wonder if those little squares that are also in the front of the school are used as emergency lighting or not.

I thought you installed a red light on the generator building. Because in the New Years sound off video at 12:00, I thought I seen a red light right by the fan

When installing an L5-30 for my 2200 watt generator would I need a 10/2 or 10/3 wire? My bigger generator might go up to 3000 watts. Right now I am in question about the 10/2 or 10/3 wire. I have NO plans on going higher than 25 watts.
@nics-systems-electric
@nics-systems-electric Жыл бұрын
L5-30 is just 1 pole so a 2 wire with ground would work

@@nics-systems-electric Thanks and just to make sure one more question. When I add the 10/2 wire to the panel box I want to use a double pole breaker so that I can use some 120volt appliances when there is a blackout, sounds OK? I do not need any 240 stuff.
@nics-systems-electric
@nics-systems-electric Жыл бұрын
@@Ojeramup12 no that won't work for your situation you would need 240 V two pole generator you cannot run the house off 120 V as the panel is split into two phases where it's a different phase every other breaker you would also need a interlock switch so you would need to get a 240 V generator or just power things off of extension cords

@@nics-systems-electric OK for right now. I think that I have seen some videos using a L5-30 and using a double pole breaker and yet only using the 120 volt breakers. Will keep you posted with my search on this.
