I think founder effect is reduced genetic variation as compared to original population

I am very confused by the coke bottle metaphor?

I think they are saying you have an overall population that decreases to a smaller amount like the overall size of the bottle is greatly reduced at the end of the neck.

In bottleneck effect, initially there were a lot of Alleles present in a population but after some sort of accident they get reduced, there are only very few types of alleles left(which is referred to as the bottleneck here). so whatever allelic frequency is now left in the population decides the new sample population to be formed.

You can also watch amoeba sisters, they explained it well

It is basically that the remaining organisms left don't always represent the same alleles as the ones in the the original population, thus making the allele frequency change.

They’re not “very different” at all, they’re literally exactly the same, you just gave two different examples of how genetic drift could happen.
