Drake scored a ton of hits from his March playlist More Life, but none were bigger than “Passionfruit.” The song peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was inescapable this spring, thanks in part to its laid back vibe courtesy of London-based producer Nana Rogues.

“Clouds in a jungle filled full of love, but not love from a girl, love from life and appreciation” ..god that makes my heart all warm and happy ..like that’s the exact feeling I get from this beat and it’s so amazing.

Wavy Jayy See rappers sometimes just steal beats and don’t even add the “PROD. (producer name)” in their song title. I bet u didn’t even know who had made this beat in the video. and that’s what I mean rappers think producer are like slaves or some shit but without producers what would they be? Like that playboi song “Magnolia” Pierre got some clout just cuz that tag “yo Pierre you wanna come out here” without that his name would’ve never been noticed.

This has to be one of the best beats I’ve ever heard. It’s nothing insane to make. It’s simple. but it’s put together so perfect. This beat will always remind me of a certain place and time in my life and I can’t thank Nana and Drake enough for blessing us all with such an absolutely incredible piece of timeless music.

Stuff like this is so inspiring. Imagine just making a beat not knowing what's going to happen with it, and suddenly it becomes the body of one of the biggest songs of one of the biggest artists. If you love something, put your all into it. Master your craft and then show it to the world; nothing is greater than being able to do what you love and get paid for it while also presenting that love to the rest of the world.

Goddamn when I first listened to this song I was high with a couple of friends in a car and one of my homies was bumping Drake's new album. We were chilling in an In N Out parking lot high out of our minds and all of a sudden we hear this shit and we all just went silent and I swear we all just sunk into the leather seats and for the next 5 minutes we were in heaven. Literally felt like I was in the clouds which is exactly what Nana wanted and I have to say, it fucking worked.

drake had a good performance in passion fruit, don't get me wrong, but the main and basically only reason i come back to this song and love it so much and for what it is, is because of the instrumental. it has a weirdly very nostalgic and calming vibe, a nice tropical one too. absolutely love it

Juan Leyva but it’s what always brings attention and keeps the artist seeming like they’re always bringing something new to the table. I listen to rap battles and a cappella’s all the time but they get boring right away. Without the music, there wouldn’t be any point of listening to an artist for longer than the first couple times. They do coexist, yet without the music, the artist doesn’t flourish, but the music can always stand alone.
