Then, “How many 5’s appear between 1 - 100” is misleading or confusing. The answer is 10 if you are looking for how many times the digit 5 appears, but 20 if asking how many 5’s fit into 100. Also they forgot the timer for the car question. That aside, the logic to the solutions are as follows: 1. (1/2)x(1/4)x8000 = (1/8)x8000 = 8000/8 = 1000. A basic arithmetic word problem. 2. The lower left shape is the only one where the free square is not adjacent to the square at the arrow base. 3. If you don’t recognize the shape of the contiguous United States, then you’re probably American. 4.
