方（かた）Kata is used to express "How to" in Japanese. The literal meaning of 方（かた）Kata is the way in which the action is performed.
= Answer of the Exercise =
神社でのお参りの仕方を習いました or 覚えました。
じんじゃでのおまいりのしかたをならいました or おぼえました。
Jinja de no omairi no shikata o naraimashita or oboemashita.

The difference is in the meanings: ichi means 1 "one", itsu means"when", hito means "a human" or "a person" and hitotsu means 1 thing (counting word).

Snehalさん、the plug-in I used to create the quiz stopped working. I don't know why but I assume the developer stopped updating the plugin. So, now I will have to re-create those quizzes by using a different plugin. I don't know when I can get into it so until then, the quiz is not available. I am sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

This grammar is so crazy, can't believe it's thought of as N5. The の after particles seems so unecessary, I wonder if it's something that's dropped.

Oh, so in other words, when words requiring particles are used as adjectives の must be used unless the other particle is either に or を, like I like studying *at the library* = 図書館での勉強が好きです。 I enjoy playing *with my dog* = 犬との遊びを楽しんでいます。 But when verbs are involved, they no longer apply, like I lost the bookmark *I bought at the bookstore* = 本屋で買った栞を無くしました。

Usually katakana is used for foreign words, such as names, etc Hiragana is the standard writing style for normal Japanese words :D Again I’m not that experienced in Japanese but I am trying to help with my current knowledge:>

another channel I watched recently said that while you can use Hiragana and Katakana to spell pretty much all Japanese, only little kids every write that way. He also said that often Katakana are used along with Kanji and Hiragana in order to help make sentence breaks more evident, since they don't space words the way we do in latin alphabet languages. This works because there are so many foreign words and objects in Japan. But it also doesn't mean that Katakana is only ever used for strictly foreign things? Short answer, you kind of need to know all 3, and you cannot avoid Kanji.
