I cook my paimon by roasting her and then i put some honey on her. Simple,Paimon honey roast.

Being a patissiere and food designer is a lot of work. I wouldn't do it myself, but I commend the effort and time you put into the design. Congrats on the your milestones!

Since this was my first pie design I genuinely can't wait for my next one! I can't wait to look back at this milestone (and pie) and see how I can improve overtime! 😊 Whats your favorite type of pie? Pate chaud is a meat pastry with French origins but a lot of Viet ppl including me love eating it. Savory > sweet

@@Harmonia96 OMG look at the little meat pies!! I think i heard somewhere that the French did become established in Vietnam for a little bit (hence why they have French baguettes for Banh mi) so i think its really cool that they have other food influences as well! i've never seen a pate chaud before i'd love to try one, one day 🙏

@@IssaGrill Some Viet bakeries and sandwich shops have a toaster to keep pate chaud and other pastries warm. The smell is ADDICTING. The crust is so flaky and buttery, and the meat inside is so juicy that it permeates through a layer of the pastry. The food culture in Vietnam is something else. You have the fermentation process and some spices and herbs from China, France's bread and butter, and the native vegetables, rice, and seafood. Meat and poultry didn't have as much of a presence until Vietnamese ppl fled or immigrated to the States; at least that's what I can make out from the conversations my mom had with her friends about her life experiences.

This is a hell of a lot more artistic and fancy than I expected. :O Like, wow. Honestly, I figured it would just be a meat pie when I followed a text link. "Today, we are making Paimon Pie! If you do not have a Paimon, or it is NOT an emergency, ham may be substituted as we are doing today." ...or something.

This pie is a piece of art! I would feel so guilty eating it! 😂 I adore all the little details and the thought that went into each element by pulling inspiration from Paimon's design. How long did it take you? Congrats on the 1K! I have no doubt that you'll be able to reach 1.5K by the end of the year. Not only do you creations look beautiful and impressive, but the recipes are no doubt delicious too. 😋

fr just YOLO LOL I was ready to move onto a new project forsure! Thank you, & I saw my mom do it LOL so I thought I'd do the same.. come to think of it I really could have just used water

I could be wrong, but I think it's because vodka evaporates faster than water so it will dry quicker. Especially if it's on uncooked dough, water can create a bit more of a gluey consistency when it comes in contact with raw flour. Hence why vodka is often used instead of water in pie dough since it prevents gluten formation!
