I am a mom of a 14 year old man. And I am not sure how I got to watch your videos , but now do it regularly probably because I am trying to prepare myself for a time when my boy start to live separately.

One of the lessons I hope the younger guys are getting from James,Antonio,Raphael,and Ash, is that competitive academics, and/or military service,can be foundational for becoming a productive masculine man. Embrace challenges. Do the hard things. You can live the life of your dreams.

Let's effing goooo! Like a lot of KZfaq viewers, collabs feel special to me. Seeing two people I love make the time to talk always excites me, it feels like a big moment. Ash's advice is excellent, his style is sharp, and his manner is so charming and calming. Good to see him with you, and I hope this excellent podcast continues well into the future! EDIT, also, it's good to see you already venturing into longer episodes, I hope they get even longer.

I grew up watching old black and white movies from the 30s to the 50s and the manners and style of the men made a huge impression on me.

Seriously my two favourite channels these days. I watch most of the videos you post. I began watching The Chap’s Guide last year sometime and discovered Gent Z a few months ago. I am way past the demographic that Gent Z is aiming at, but I still really enjoy your videos. Congratulations on your rapid rise. It was good to get to know both of you a little better.

I only got into him recently but some interesting insights to be sure. I'm getting a custom suit and shirt in celebration of my 26th birthday so I am indeed in that counterculture of wearing suits because I want to, not because I have to. Generally I only wear suits once a week for church and wear scrubs for work but I do like dressing up and want more excuses to do so. I also like fountain pens.

Not so much the smaller cities but go to the British countryside and there are plenty of tweed jackets, neckties, flat caps, well polished shoes, red trousers! Etc

Really enjoy your collaborations. You’re on the right track by letting people get to know you. When I was growing up my parents always dressed up to go out to dinner. Sadly you see folks with baseball caps and flip flops in nice restaurants today. I hope your channel will help change the way people present themselves. This includes the way many young women who I see shopping or going to restaurants in gym clothes. I agree with the chap’s guide about most people don’t wear suits daily but could dress a little more stylish. Keep going young man and good luck with your channel.

Gent Z you are great at what you’re doing bringing this to the young fellas, I hope you become a bigger contributor to changing our generation’s mentality to what a real man or gentleman should be, emphasizing masculinity, respect, and style, the late Kevin Samuels was our guide for the young minorities of color, in impoverished big cities, unfortunately he died two years ago. On another note, the difference between you and Ash’s communication is very significant. Ash, that older gentleman’s dialect, positivity, lack of curse words, ideology, and life experience is just pure class 👌🏽 coming from a native Newyorker 😉, you have a lot to learn! Btw, maybe should also look into South Florida as a forever place.

I'm not sure what it's called, but I'm sure there's some kind of economic term for it, or study of it, but I think with America there is a big gap between the average income (the true mathematical mean) versus the median income (what the person smack in the middle makes) and also versus the GDP per capita.

Regarding the way women dress nowadays, both for work and off work, I don't expect them to wear skirts and high heels. However, at least try to dress well and appropriately, and in some way that makes you, well, attractive and look like you spent time putting together your outfit. There's one pretty girl in my office who wears the same pair of hideous knobby soled shoes almost every day that I think homeless people would reject. I know it's harder to define the female version of classic style, but it's rarer to see than with men.

I live in L.A. It's not what it used to be. Times have changed. Baywatch days gone. It's Croc footwear land.

Philly is an acquired taste. 😅 Great restaurant scene. Great cultural institutions, universities, and hospitals. But a bit gritty.

Before the 1960s, glued suits didn't even exist so literally everyone wore proper canvassed suits.

I think you shouldn't stop doing videos about style. Missing your tips about clothes and looks.

I'm surprised that Ash is dressing down in real life. If you love classic menswear then wear it for your own pleasure and self-expression and stop caring so much whether you fit into the sweatpants-wearing crowd.

I tried to blend. Until it was a total disrespect for the human evolution, especially for the man-kind. I do my way. People eventually gets tired of questioning and accepts some zebra chose different patterns and colours.. 🤷‍♂️
